  1. Gial, every time I see your edits on the wiki I'm always delighted by the fact that you're attacking the wiki from a completely different angle from so many others. The work you've been doing (and thank god you have!) is invaluable. It's the kind of thing that adds "polish" and really ties up the loose ends. It's what helps create the difference between a wiki that is allright and one that could be spectacular. I'm not sure about us doing a multi lingual wiki...I know that there are chunks of code we can download which will make it multilingual...but with so much work on the plate already it's just something I guess we've never even looked at yet. gogo
  2. Claire, I"ve stopped laughing about the molly name lol... (oops that one slipped through saweeeee ) And I'm also wondering...is there a way that you can get the guy who hit your car to pay for it out of his own pocket? If you get insurance involved...won't his premiums go up to because your insurance company has to get his insurance company to pay? This could mar his record, and I'm thinking that for him to avoid that he'd rather pay you out of pocket rather than make a claim because in the long run, his own costs will go up. gogo p.s. Ike, I'm glad your story turned out half decent...it's one of the rare car/hit stories that I have heard where the victim isn't too angry.
  3. subscription fee? for a non rpg game? gogo
  4. Thank god for broadband for this thread, lol Moscowgolem, this thread that you've brought over from the sif: http://forum.sacredeng.ascaron-net.com/sho...ead.php?t=44705 with all the links has brought your experience at the expo to life with pics. Would you be able to tell us what the Sacred Booth was like? Did you get to play much of the game? The Moscow game exposition certainly shows a side of the game not often seen in north american game expositions... However as so few of the pics are Sacred related and our members have pointed out are from other games, I'm moving this thread to our general gaming thread section. Cheers gogo
  5. And, we just got our first contributor for SacredWiki news...TY Indy...just glad you were able to work your way through the code. It looks great...and the twin release you did here on this site is great. Good job gogo
  6. "And the Sacred world of Ancaria will also tremble with the band's rocking tunes. By solving a quest in the game, players can unlock a bonus event, in which the motion-captured Blind Guardians perform their new song "live"." Brilliant This is Ascaron at the top of their game...ALWAYS looking to find that real human edge that connects them to the fans. I'm glad to see they're still thinking outside the box. Can't wait! gogo p.s. ty for the links indy...Ascaron and heavy metal huh ^^
  7. wait, wait., no no...I want one first! gimeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee gogo
  8. Enjoy the vac, bhj And looking to see what the monster looks like when you get it goin! gogo
  9. Ganto great to see your application! I've loved and enjoyed all of your energy and posts here on the site. You'll just need your nominations and a discussion thread to win you your probation and then...you'll be on your way to being a darkster. Cheers! gogo
  10. It's a pleasure Gothic. And I just set up the page right now here on the wiki: http://darkmatters.org/SacredWiki/index.php5/Game_References You can now go in whenever you want and set up that page for the knowledge. Enjoy and have fun...and if anyone is able to add to this please edit it in. Cheers! gogo
  11. She is a beauty. Ascaron did well with bringing her into Sacred 2. gogo
  12. Hey Csaszar! Everyone needs a break now and then, and you're spent years on this game and have been a part of the site for so long now. The work you've done on the SacredWiki, builds and guides has always been great to enjoy. Enjoy the vacation and we'll still be here awaiting your return. Cheers! gogo
  13. Brilliant Gothic I don't play a battlemage, but I hope others who here do can help you out with this list. When I get some time tommorrow...yay day off! I'll set up a new page for you on SacredWiki for this so the data can start to be added. Quite honestly I never knew there were so many from one class... Do all the characters share the same sayings for certain parts of the game then? gogo
  14. The new template with the CA demonstration videos is sweet. Check out this seksi page: http://darkmatters.org/SacredWiki/index.php5/Flame_Thrower Looking good guys Vimeo looks so...video gamey! gogo
  15. Therion you're too modest! I'm posting the image of what you've done here Nothing short of gorgeous...typical Therion stuff ^^ And Timo, lol...I love the work you've managed to put in as well...VERY useful info all of that...analyses of what stuff does of particular interest to readers...good job there! And a big thanks to Llama on the work on the patches...beastly job it is...ty! And Ari, those images you posted for the sets... beautiful! And Schot's being way too modest as well... I know those images took him almost thirty hours to do...and each one is individually cut out for use anywhere in the wiki by anyone: http://darkmatters.org/SacredWiki/index.php?title=Sets EM and Vampie, a good project for time starved peeps is perhaps making note of what the characters say when they're standing still? We have a thread going on this over here: http://darkmatters.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=6215 heh, you just have to be patient and wait for em to spit it out! And a round of sincere appreciation for the many, MANY people who have all managed to squeeze out time for this biggest project ever. Thank you gogo
  16. Katran, that's a fantastic job...and so quickly for you as you've just started playing. Congratulations! So....which toon next? gogo
  17. Hi there Mrdo4lif3 I wish I could help you but I'm playing Sacred on XP...I do know that a few members of the community are using Vista these days and hopefully they'll be able to help you out. Welcome to DarkMatters! gogo
  18. I hate it...I'm now at the point of having to delete about sixteen junk emails from my hotmail account...it's getting to the point now where I don't even feel like turning msn on anymore because of the huge drudging affair of having to now 1-pick between junk mail 2-delete emails Staying in touch has never been such a chore And I accidentally once published my email in another forum I visit... eek I think spiders picked up the addy... nooooooooooooooooo grrrrrrrrrrr gogo
  19. Interesting...that was the kind of info I was looking for. Gintukas, are you saying that if we were to pick between equal levels of upgrades for one of our techs... Weapon would be the one that would be most useful? gogo
  20. Wow lol, Therion I leave this page for a little while and already you've got peeps asking for more of your detailed builds! The Poison Daemon had seemed to so many others to be a kind of build for the daemon that was tougher to do...it's tricky to get it to work properly but you've made it look so easy. You're quickly turning into a kind of uber daemon specialist, and with the in-depth way that you're covering builds with movies and comprehensive descriptions, you inspire others to follow in the daemon's flaming steps and emulate the success you've had with your builds. Your touch of humor is what makes your guides approachable, and I'll echo what another has posted here... When doth the battle daemon a la Therion show up! Keep goin +++ gogo
  21. wow It's been a long time since I've had a reallly good breakfast like that Makes me think I deserve one too! lol, we need to hire a breakfast chef with cool thingys like fried taters, fried eggs...fried coffee? gogo
  22. Off the bat, the top three... Pax, Mob, D.a.r.k Then there's Jin Roh...are there any others? I'm just wondering why some of the clans have stuck it through for almost two years now, and the reason's why they've stuck together so long. Are the original clans all composed of peeps from other uni's? Are groups of friends "uni jumping"? gogo
  23. Gak I can't believe how much they're charging in crystal for this upgrade. Why's it so much more expensive than the other ones? It's a boatload of crystal! Indy says that Shields are actually the most valuable tech in the game because the regenerate per round and so effectively keep defending as a long battle progresses... That make any sense? gogo
  24. hey guys Well, I think the pix are done, with a few hundred edits going in over the last week...ty to everyone who's been working on this. Uniques now list out by: 1-All uniques Alphabetically 2-All uniques by Class 3-All uniques by created listings. And of course...Uniques can be spun out anyway that anyone wishes to have it done. Just create a new listing and then pick out way of organizing uniques and then simply drop in the names. The software will spin it out via clickable names in a table or a list. Again, thank you everyone. Good job! gogo
