  1. heh, nice work there Epox. Getting to level fifty without any picked skills or stat points? Must have been some hair raising adventures. gogo
  2. Ahhh, Stargaze, VERY clever that..asking for unsalted to make sure they're fresh... great idea...and I do like the idea of salting them myself according to taste. And Outtatown, I do think there are cases of lack of salt in the body but in rare instances only...maybe after running a marathon? gogo p.s. I like the idea of using tabasco as an alternative salt source...but because It satisfies our taste buds that way...wouldn't it mean that it was high in sodium?
  3. The screen I'm using is a flat seventeen inch, and when I got it it was pretty cool and all...so I haven't been shopping for screens in a while...I was pleasantly surprised to find the prices for flats has really dropped...ninteen inch is almost a must have now with 21 inch good buys always there if hunted for. And yeah...it's a 21 inch I'll be looking for... it looks like more and more games are gonna start supporting widescreen...and that'll be killer. gogo
  4. It's the choice of weapons and possible mods that always had me going in terms of interest for this game. If I have some time tonight I'll see about downloading the demo...I remember reading some great stats on using weapon mods regarding shields for parties, single person...balancing all that with damage...good meaty kind of stuff I wanted to get me paws on. gogo
  5. ahhh, my condolences for the loss Erling. That story was great tribute to the toon. Here's my best wishes for the rebirth of an even better one. Good luck! gogo
  6. Nice screen Epox... I'm trying to save up for a good quality flatscreen as well, though I'd heard that the big ones can "ghost" images if they're not of high quality. Have you played games with a lot of movement on your new screen? Does it keep up well? gogo
  7. Gratz FF! Miner having the cake and eating it too? So...when you gonna publish your FF Mining guide. gogo
  8. Awesome Epox!~ lol, I just got home now and you're all over the wiki...lol, you and Gial...nice work guys +++ gogo
  9. I want to mirror Claire's sentiments with regarding your application Erling. Your energy and exuberance is marvelous. However more careful consideration of the site rules, and policies must be attended to before making progress with your application. Please keep up with the posts and keep meeting up with the members, while paying special attention to ingame comportment and language. It's always great having new people on the D.a.r.k roster, but the "fit" between clan and individual has to be the "right" one. Good luck, continue with your efforts and hopefully you'll win the support you need internally to win yourself a place amongst the clan. Cheers gogo
  10. Hey guys, I brought over PowerPyx's info from the Wiki over to here so that everyone workin on the project can take a look at the link. gogo ==== Enemy Pictures ==== You can download here a package called "sacred_handbuch.rar" which includes tons of pictures of all enemies. These pictures are free to use for informational cases like wikis and or websites to present and explain sacred. No licence is needed. Just leave a ©opyright note. http://www.apeboys.com/~pyx/dso/sacred_handbuch.rar It also includes formula to calculate lots of things, maybe someone can extract it from the html code. --[[user:PowerPyx|PowerPyx]] 05:12, 17 October 2007 (EDT)
  11. Wow, Dobster great seein ya here and if you say it's good, I think it's worth the download. D'you know what kind of machine it takes to run the demo? gogo
  12. Frosty nice job with the review...you got me interested. I love vamp movies. I've often thought that most of the other horror constructs can often be cheesy, but vamps are classy. I think a few of the vamp movies I enjoyed were Salem's Lot, and Lost Boys. And your description of the time period for the town also adds interest. Working against the clock has always been a feature of vamp movies as the hero or heroine attempt to get those stakes driven in before the coming of the night. Youre giving gore an 8 on ten for this? This I gotta see. gogo
  13. Hey there Mermaid, welcome to DarkMatters! Ahh, another ogamer. We have a lot of great peeps from a lot of the clans all visiting and chatting...there's even a photo thread somewhere where you can add and look at the uni nine players. We've got a few bars and some great intro threads that are fun to post to and meet up with the gang. Also, this link here: http://darkmatters.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=3754 will take you to our posting guidelines for this site, which is a great read and, lol...has a point about being careful with double posting in a thread. . What we try to encourage is to edit your last post rather than making a second post which can confuse another poster who wishes to post in sequence. You've got some great friends, Yarasa and Gintukas are DarkMatters vets and have been around here since...gosh...for a looooooong time now. Have fun on the site, and once again... Welcome! gogo p.s. I do agree with the others... very nice sig
  14. ayuh, quite a number of CA pics have to be filled in I think...have a look through... I think the Dwarf needs help, dark elf, possibly. gogo
  15. aww, I want the beach too, lol.. Funki dinna worry, I'm sure there will be stuff to do when the next season rolls around, and you're right...everyone's doing a fantastic job. And...I just brought in the silly messages...I wrote up a small intro, but the formatting is crappy and...I don't know if I even like my intro! http://darkmatters.org/SacredWiki/index.ph...Ingame_Messages If there's anyone that wants to give it a tango go right ahead. And in the last couple of days: Gial, that glossary is looking great...nice job. http://darkmatters.org/SacredWiki/index.ph...y:Game_Glossary And Schot...the new seraphim on the Character Class page...deeeeeeeeeeelish The work your doing on the rendered images is creating great new toon pics that noone has seen before. That page is an important one, and is going to turn out to be a great intro to the rest of the wiki. Epox, you got all the Glad Ca pics done...brilliant!...and what...in just a few minutes...sweet http://darkmatters.org/SacredWiki/index.ph...ttack/Gladiator As well, Llama and Ob are bearing down on the wiki relentlessly non stop with the data fill ins for the set items... fantastic job, both of you. And of course...Pevil has just made an appearance and...done this: http://darkmatters.org/SacredWiki/index.php5/Mounts Claire, lol...there's a lot of guides to format huh! ahhh, darlin they will soon be done, bit by bit... they will be wikified! to all gogo
  16. lol...enci, that's what I call a lucky strike!...now hide em for someone else to find em! And good luck to you with the essay, Timo... hope it's on something that interests you and that you get your comp goin...wow...so many challenges with the electronics with you in the last little while! And , Undone, roomie's birthdays are often the best. Local party on the home turf...what's better? Did you guys do something special? gogo
  17. My sincere condolences for the loss of an inspired and heroic man. It's amazing though that the work this man did is still living on in your memory and heart, Kat. You've given him more memory to others by posting about this and the footsteps created now will impact even more. I have just read about him because of you, and now I'll carry around his deeds and memory with me. Changes like this with children are real changes, and the ones that generations appreciate. Hopefully there will be others who can help carry on with his work. gogo
  18. heh, that kind of coding is the way the wiki works. We just go into someone else's edits and see the code they used to format/edit their page then apply it with new data. Gene, if you need more ideas on the code used to set up pages, check out the way that nihilith did it for Albion here: http://darkmatters.org/SacredWiki/index.php5/Albion you can easily copy the template over into any new page that you add to the wiki. Also see how he added it to a larger listing of uniques here: http://darkmatters.org/SacredWiki/index.ph...niques_Database you can find a place in that last link where your item would go and then just enter your unique name directly onto that page by eding that page itself, and then use the wiki code button at the top (Internal Link) to create a new page for it by highlighting and using the Internal Link button at the top to create an interwiki link to a new page which will be create it if an old page does not already exist. Also check out this wiki section here... some peeps have found great code like NO INCLUDE etc...good examples of this can be found in the CA pages like this one here: http://darkmatters.org/SacredWiki/index.ph...d_Hit/Gladiator That's a quick walkthrough of what the gang's found while experimenting, and if you find more code please post it up...a great example of good wiki codes would be in other game wikis across the net. If you see them using wiki code in a way that could help us, just post and share. Good luck! gogo p.s. Gene, I just looked at your additions...they look great. This is the way the wiki's holes can be filled in...one item and one sentence at a time. Great that you got the code working and it looks like you've already got the basics in hand. Nice work.
  19. eeeeeeeeee...everyone wants crystal these days Sorry, Dick...I'm plumb out gogo
  20. Good idea! We need everyone on the team to have moons. Let's think of this like a Moon Raise for Myles. What's the exactly amount of rez he needs? I can immedietely donate all the metal right now to help with the first moon shot. g0g0
  21. WOW! Do you have it? I've been waiting for this game forever! gogo
  22. Heya Powerpyx! It was a big consideration for us regrading where to channel all the energy going into the wiki. We were scared about losing posts and momentum to the wiki with posts and answers all going there. We're doing a lot of research right now into being able to use our new ipbwiki bridge program that we bought to be able to run talk/discussion pages from the wiki itself to either open up pages here, or just cancel talkpages on the wiki so that we can keep our community together in one place. The synergy from the wiki posts is awesome, and everyone seeing their posts in one place energizes the entire forum community as well as the wiki team. gogo
  23. Isn't it wicked? Gial, if you want, you can make another account so that your fdm account and wiki are the same...this way you'll be known for the credit for your contributions in the history tab. I'm just so happy you're enjoying the new toy. It's gotta be one of the most sweetest things for an active community around. gogo p.s. loooooooool, powerpyx...yeah yeah The servers we're on are pretty good actually but a bit too pricey..specially with a wiki...we'll be moving in a few months to bigger, better digs! p.s.s. Katran, are your edit abilities back as well?
  24. Addicts you two.... gotta love it! yeah adding stuff is great fun...and getting a handle on the codes is always great...learning new stuff is always a pleasure. Gial, regarding the Glossary, it looks like you've got a handle on it. If you want some ideas on how others have done their glossary, check out how they code over at www.guildwiki.com They're the best gogo
