There allso seems to be a major lack of planet slots in U40.org at the moment the ladder says more then 12k people, so let's assume 8k or so are active in a month. if they each need 8 colonies and 1 HW, they would need 9 slots each. Now, since slots 1-2-3 and 14-15 are allways empty, let's assume there are 10 slots per solarsystem, which are viable for a planet that allows you to put up level 3+ mines. (so to speak, I mean: Who needs 30 fields right ? O.o) Now each galaxy has 499 solarsystems, and there are 9 galaxies. so that makes there are 'about' 500*10*9 = 45000 viable slots for a half-decent planet (and I am lowering my standards here, I am keeping 150 fields and up , can ya imagine. I didn't use to settle for anything less then 200). Now if 8000 people are active, and each have 8 colonies + 1 HW, they would need 8000*9 planet slots = 72.000 planet slots, where there are about 45000 available. This is not just a few short, it's a major issue. I scann hundreds of solarsystems every day, to find each spot 4-13 taken. it's getting rediculous. I'm exited as ever if I find a spot 13 somewhere (they tend to give the 150 ones, every ocne in a while). So by reverse calculation, I'd say we have a shortage of viable planets, until there is about 4.5k players left. And even then, each and every planet in all 9 galaxys would be cramped full as ever. In the dutch uni's, getting 3-4k people is a lot, so I never realised just how much those colonies were in dire need in the bigger unis. It's crazy I tell ya.

yaaaaaaaaaay I got my exam results today. first, a little introduction story: There was once a person by the name of Toon (it's meh ), who had 2 courses to follow at school. They were applied mathematics and chemistry: study of cations. But poor Toon decided he knew everything the professors tried to teach him, and skipped all his classes. On one clouded and dark day, he had to make verbal exams. Determined as ever he busted in the door, grabbed his chair, and placed his well muscled torso on this piece of furniture (ok, I may have hollywood-ed this a bit ). But alas, his planns seemed to fail when the professor said: I know who you are, and I know you never came to my class. Silence took over the room ... (Eek !). I tried to tell her why I did it, but all she said was: Well, let's see just how well you know what I had to tell you then ... And she started throwing questions at me. Other students got 3 questions, and 2 subquestions on each question, so that makes 6 total. I got 17 of em !, she just kept throwing things at me. And then came the moment for glory. As I entered class today, the results were distributed by the respective teachers ... (Oh-oh). She called for me and said: Congratulations, you knew what I had to tell you indeed. I scored 19/20 on my exams. who's the b*tch now b*tch. I totally pwnd her in those xams, but I was affraid she might just make it a 12 or 13, because you know ... What results are there to verify on a verbal exam. She has absolute power right? ps: I scored 16 on math, so in total I got 16/20 and 19/20 on my exams. So a lot has to happen before I get sad today !!

I saw something in Turkey, while on holliday that defied all my beliefs of road safety: The rules seem to be: The sturdies vehicle may choose lanes and do what he likes, other cars loose privileges, in descending sturdyness.... It's really crazy down there. Imagine a slightly curved road, a few hundred yards long. Not the tight corner, but no stretch lane either. Imagine a car, a bus of tourists (in which I sat), a truck with stacked bails of hay, a truck filled with timber logs (you know, like in Final destination). Allso, imagine 3 lanes. (yep, 3, not 4 as the ammount of vehicles would indicate). Now here is what happens: Our buss makes a brisk move, and for some reason the bussdriver passes a car in that turn. While he does that, a truck with bails of hay is passing our buss. Seconds after the manouvres are done, a big truck with logs (Can ya imagine!) drives over the road markings, between our buss and the truck with hay, passing us at disturbing speeds. At that time I was like Holy Hannah!BBQPND. but afterwards I really realised how potentially dangerous that situation was. remember. The 'timber-truck' passed between 2 other trucks, in a turn , at about 90k/h (that's about 60 mph)

I joined uni 40 aswell Joined one of the top dutch alliances .CL. though. and since it took me hell on earth to get in that alliance, I wouldn't want to leave it, and get Eleanore'd by em They don't really rank very high on this universe though, caus most started for fun, and started mining ... If some of you guys start, let me know. If it's ok with you, we can have personal naps. My plans are to become fulltime crasher there. My first few small crashes (at 1.5k points now, so nothing major yet) have been made, and hoping to make my first 1%'er in the next few days. I'll be able to use any ACS partner in the future biggest hit so far: 179K TD and about 70k DF. Not bad for 1500 points, but that's my vision

Same here. my copy of Sacred Underworld was 7.99euros. and it was the combo pack, where you got both sacred and sacred underworld in 1 box. I allready had the sacred original though, but I couldn't find any underworld-only packs.

Well, your timing could be considered rather unfortunate. I think the Sacred lobbies will be close to deserted, and the MP lobbies will be dusty and filled with spider rags. About a month ago, Sacred 2 made it's europe release, and the US and NA releases just got through aswell, so allmost the entire community switched over to sacred 2. Sorry to disappoint you mate Welcome on the forums though !

True. In belgium voting is mandatory. Whoever doesn't show up, can get fined or even proscecuted in a court of law. I allso consider it a privilege to have this right. I think it's a shame some people don't vote. Sure, Belgium with it's 10mil population doesn't come close to the epic proportions the US has on voting days, but still. Whoever you wanna vot for, just DO it. Don't get idiotic about it, and say: what does my vote matter... Well, it matters, trust me !

Yes! found it. even though it displayed on my screen, and way half grayed out (since it was hidden, but now reavealed), it still didn't show up on search... Odd. either way, I found options.txt So do I get it right when I open this options.txt file, I add the part you had in code brackets in the first post, all the way at the bottom. Save it under the name optionsCustom.txt and delete the original options.txt file ? Wanna get some confirmation before I do stuff like this that could mess my game up

hidden files and folders was changed, as in your original post However, even options.txt doesn't yield any results by search (both automatically and manual), I am using XP. However, I do have a map called options_readme.txt
