  1. Would like to say Happy 21st birthday to his *diabetes*, and wishes that we can still live a long and happy life together!

  2. I've been living in Pretoria for almost 3 years, and my parents live in Pietersburg, 250km north of here, it is about 2 1/2 hours drive, no train or air travel. My middle sister, also lives in Pietersburg, in her own house, not even 2km away from my parents, but in the same estate that my parents live in. And my oldest sister lives in George with her husband and 5month old son, about 1216km away from Me and about 1500km away from my parents. At least the plane tickets from George to Pretoria is more frequent and relatively cheap. my nephew Rico
  3. If I could change one thing, more chest tabs or more space in chests. Too many times that I've left things lying around because I couldn't pick up more.
  4. EEEEEK! that is kinda scary stuff! we get most of our leafy produce like lettuce and cabbage already washed, but we rinse it a second time, just to be safe as well. we pick our own herbs fresh from our herb garden, where there are no dogs, or other animals allowed, but they also get washed very thoroughly!
  5. Those steaks looks good gogo! It has very good marbling, and no sinew or connective tissue
  6. Ok. I have been active on FDM for a while. I am from South Africa. Live in Pretoria(Tshwane) in a commune with 4 other guys(all students), atleast they are also into Gaming, so we all get along, and the 5 of us are all originally from Pietersburg(Polokwane), about 250km further north.
  7. [quote name='wolfie2kX' timestamp='1299851067' post='6922688' And let's not forget being eaten by lions or leopards, mauled by honey badgers, stepped on by elephants, shredded by hyenas and bitten by nasty snakes. Ok..Ok.. So I watch too much Animal Planet, National Geographic and Top Gear. HAHA! no no, we don't have lions, leopards, honey badgers, elephants or any other wild life roaming the streets in South Africa. Not even domesticated animals (well, Maybe some cattle and goats in the very rural areas) but the cities have CRIMINALS, not ANIMALS. Animals like the big five, Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Rhino, and Elephant is not something that just any farm or lodge may contain, licenses and proper fences and warnings are necessary!
  8. oh what a beautifull morning! *SLAP* oh what a terrible day. :-(

  9. That is terrible. Isn't the country with the most earthquakes? In the sense of natural disasters, I think South Africa is very safe, infrequent flooding, but no earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, tornadoes, or well those disasters. But you are in danger of murder, rape, robbing/mugging/hijacking and other terrible crimes.
  10. LOL! Gotta Luuurve the unimogs. It does look super cool Chattius, but might be a bit of a problem finding parking space for it if you don't have a forest around your house!?! Delta!
  11. I don't think it concentrates the flavour, but the plants are still very young, usually between 10-25 days from germination, so the flavour is still pure herb, no pesticides are used, and the plants are still very very tender, the whole thing can be eaten.
  12. Ice cream is happines in frozen form, to be enjoyed at ALL times! :-)

  13. Congrats DB! Now you don't need to duck the tomatoes thrown at you by spammers anymore! Just breathe some fire!
  14. The rabbit pie is really really delicious! It is called micro herbs because the plants are planted in really small containers constricting their growth, and they are just very tiny little leaves. but they do deliver a big punch, they are packed with flavour. micro herb salads are just 3 or more herbs mixed together and we usually add sprouts as well Oh and the wild mushroom sauce gets shiitake mushrooms! not FECAL MATTER!ake mushrooms. Delta!
  15. That can be awesome! would I, for example, be able to download new better weapons and armor pieces? and at what level would they be? (Is that a very noobish question)
  16. Some more food pictures. Starter: Goats cheese souffle with a micro-herb salad marinated beetroot, beetroot puree, apple jelly, apple sorbet, deep fried capers and red wine reduction. Main courses: 160g Beef fillet, with sauteed green beans, french fries and a wild mushroom sauce(FECAL MATTER!ake, shemji, and Himalayan black truffles) Game study: A rabbit and prune pie, with a sauteed baby carrot, ostrich fillet with spinach polenta, and a stuffed quail, served with a brandy demi glace sauce
  17. Sounds a bit like down here in Aus. Although in most places it doesnt get that cold...around or one or two degrees C below 0 is about the coldest it gets. Summer does get that hot though. Yip! southern Hemisphere! also known as Hotazhell!
  18. no 67981 on my list of things to make before I die: putu pap. Check and it was yummy!

  19. lol. Our minimum winter temperatures are -10°C at the extreme coldest nights (still no snow) and can reach a max of 25°C. Our summer temperatures start on a cool evening/morning at about 18°C and sometimes reach a scorching 40°C.
  20. Atleast I don't get motion sickness, but it is very annoying when the camera jumps around like that!
  21. Update: Didn't fall, but I wasn't very stable on the ice, it was a lot of fun though Having my own skates makes me feel like I'm part of the club!
  22. Shame man! I would love to even see snow! here in warm sunny South Africa. I love winter and prefer the cold above the hot sweaty uncomfortable summer days. If people ask me why I prefer winter over summer, I always reply that you can keep putting clothes on to keep warm, but you can only take off that much before you aren't decent anymore! Our Christmas time is always spent with fans, Air conditioners, swimming pools, shorts, and lots of ice in the freezer.
  23. Watching Ice hockey right now, never seen a life game before! It looks awesome! I wish I could skate like these guys. But I only got my own pair(old pair from my cousin that he is not using anymore) yesterday. Want to test them out. Soooooooper excited. Just hope I'm not gonna fall flat on my face! Haha already laughing and I'm not even on the ice yet!
  24. Dankie aan Tobie Swanepoel vir my eie ysskaatse! kan nie wag om hulle te gaan uit toets nie!
