  1. I've been intending to get on, but somehow I've gotten soo sucked into one mobile game, Deity Wars, that my days are almost all spent into it. But I'll be logging in one day. Been playing some in the past and really liked it.
  2. "Off with his head!" Nice one, Omni. Might that bloke be a forsworn? They are noted of their savage behavior against other than fellow forsworn.... And just couple of shots I took the other day: Was blown out by stuff added when I went full Ultra settings. O_o 'Tis still the same game? Everything maxed out, minus Anti-Alias. With full 1080p res it's only a waste of resources. Still trying to find a good ENB-setting. Those buggers start really hitting performance... After yet another Blood Dragon. Got one dragon mod in, and the pests are really challenging... Remember fighting one off on the top of the mountain, and that blasted thing swiped me offa the cliff. Need I say insta-kill... And it looks I pass the official HD-textures. Looks like the modder peeps have created much better looking stuff already. And right, I updated finally my old GPU (HD 4770) into brand spanking new HD 7850. Well, last year's models, but still. I wouldn't have dreamed of playing Skyrim on ultra with my old GPU. xD
  3. She'll be something great someday. Well, jokes aside. I'd be crapping my pants on such situation... Guess it really holds true that older you get, more careful you get. I think. And mind you, I'm not that old. xD But never been a HC-player, so there... Looks like this build sure would be worth trying out one day. When I get myself into it.
  4. Wolfie and others have said the important things already, but welcome aboard in my behalf too, Saraphima. Glad to hear you're already liking it here.
  5. Hmm, one could always use tethered connection of a smartphone, with a suitable data-plan. Did that with my laptop when I was visiting parents during Easter. An old Toshiba AC100. Updated to Jelly Bean by yours truly. But the connection should be absolutely more than 512kbs. That's the slowest data-packet around here, and also cheapest. Was kinda pain to browse around. And the reception was kinda bad. Small town and all. Kept swiveling from HDSPA to 3G... But enough of ot. I'm considering about getting a tablet meself. And Kindle could be one possibility. Given I have the fund and I don't have to order it from other side of the world.
  6. Uhh, personally of those too I'd go Chromebook any day. I might've said it before, but I seriously diss Apple. They have some nifty things, but their policies, pricing, etc blows big time... Still, as Wolfie stated, Chromebook is a brick without wireless network. Which is it's bigger downside. Gogo: I assume you put it up in Canadian dollars? If so, that money could get you few other nice things beside the said two products.
  7. Damn you Wolfie. Just finished eating but that's still watering my mouth. I should try that sometimes. Looks easy enough to do.
  8. Chattius: Gotta say no thanks. Be it thin as a flim, it's still red meat... Oh, and about buffets; I've been kinda regular in couple of places. Other is basic Western: pizzas, meatballs, few basic Finnish foods. The like. Other one is Thai. Those two are really great. For around 12€ eat all you can, and the food's not tastless. That Thai place is really great. They know how to put proper heat in the food.
  9. I would only eat some salted salmon, which is kinda raw, but red meat? No way in the world... I've been eating white meat (fish, turkey, chicken) so long my stomach can't stomach (pun intended. ) well any red meat, save if it's raw. Only thing I eat nowadays is Christmas ham, and that needs to be very well done. Still, interesting looking food, I give it that.
  10. Hmm, might actually give it a go on PS3. That is, if I have the spare coin and no other interesting things on sight. (Latter being most unlikely scenario. )
  11. Gogo: What else can we expect from EA, really? We've seen it so many times with their games. Only couple of games keeps me from drowning Origin into Oblivion and giving whole EA "The Finger". Mostly Mass Effect 3 and Kingdom of Amalur. ME3 being greatest, 'cause there's no really a way to play it legitimately otherwise. I watched in horror when EA consumed some parts of THQ... Can only hope the legacy is strong enough for those series to last the "EAaliazion", so to speak... Yep, not a great fan of 'em, really. But what can one do? These giants keep on sucking smaller companies into 'em..
  12. Hahaa, my sentiments exactly, when it comes to SC-gaming. I won't be starting any HC-stuff, as that'd be way too nerve-breaking for me. And, like you said, it's much more fun to try out different ideas and stuff, instead of buffing oneself up to maximum survivability. I just miiiight cave in and give it a go. If only some quality time with you peeps. But, the thing is, physical copies are horrendously priced around here. I think they will keep that way for a looong time... I mean D2&LoD is still around 20€ at places. No way sir I'm gonna put up around 40€ or more for D3. I'm not that interested. So many other games to pour my moneys into. FWIW, I listed 13 games for this year, all plats, by 1.4. Go figure... O_o
  13. Indeed, wouldn't want any allergies to anyone. And despite everything, mine is quite mild. Worst cases are in really bad shape on pollen season. And about the resistance, not that I've noticed. That would be really bad... There are hyposensibilization programs, which could basically cure the allergies. Thing is, they are still somewhat expensive, and needs to be done on wintertime, so I haven't taken closer look about them. At least yet.
  14. Why indeed. I would be totally lost without 'em. For over 10 years springs have been miserable time for me. But since I started getting anti-histamine I can live with it. Last year being an exception. I had to double the dosage couple of times... Horrendous times. Only spring I was free of that menace was when I had my military service. We were outdoors that year a lot, and I was generally more fit. Barely any symptons save some minor sneezing. Should try to work out to get as fit again. But that'll be helluva undertaking...
  15. "Brace yourselves, pollen is coming." Would be more appropriate line here. Though nights are cold, it's been steady +2-5C daytime. All sunny at least a week. So, very spring-like weather here. If feel for you Gogs, but it'll eventually come to an end. ^^ At least lets hope so. Feeling an itty bitty sick meself. Might as well be first bites of the yearly allergies starting. Took first anti-histamine yesterday and got fresh 100 pill batch from pharmacy. Allergies, here we come again...
  16. Six more days to go. Dum, dum, duuum. Tho, I don't have subscription to any service showing it firsthand. Don't mind, really. Better to watch it all in one piece, than writhe in agony through cliffhangers. Well, that's at least how it is for me. And yep, smith's gotta be strong. Why else would be be depicted as strong as oxen, and the like. Would be really great to have the skills. It'd be tad hard to find a master for an apprenticeship. At least around here...
  17. I think what he meant was that Lindsey sure would be handy for much more than a prom date, if you know what I mean. That, or Roseanne... Think I'll watch one or two of Lindsey's to get a peace of mind before going to sleep. *ahem!* And gotta agree, she would do just fine as High Elf. ^^
  18. Maybe I haven't been looking enough, but I'm still to find a rockband of real dwarves, but other than height, this is quite a great find. And those moves. Laughed loud last night when I checked this.
  19. Oh, the commerce, and all it's mishaps. Dunno about local Mc-offers, as I don't go to 'em. Got few other nice choices, so I go with them. Chattius: Well, it's not so odd to feel fond of the old gear. And those pics sure have the certain feeling about them. Sure, one could use few filters by PS or something, not the same thing of course. Personally, I'd go with modern tech. Had enough of the old film cameras way back. So much easier with digital gear. Oh, and the weather; for change, only few degrees cold. Though it seems to be getting all cloudy again. Plus point is, not so cold anymore. Few night are bound to be around -20 or so, but looks like the remainder of the week is bit more warm. And, thanks to the sun and frost, I took first slip today, when I went to get the non exsistential post... Landed straight on my bum, not so graciously... Gotta get 'em anti-skids, before I hurt myself.
  20. Welcome aboard on my behalf too. In either case, I'm pretty sure either of the programs Lujate mentioned should work. Though setting it up is a different story. http://forum.sacred2.com/showthread.php?t=56707 There is at least some sortta tutorial for Hamachi. I remember seeing one around here too. but somehow my search-fu hasn't worked on DM as of lately...
  21. Good luck in gettnig everything working. Somehow I feel glad, I managed to hunt down it as whole through Play.com. It's really a shame one needs to go through all the troubles playing a game purchase with hard coin. Well, virtual in this case but still. I'm no familiar of Gamer's Gate, but I take it there's no way to re-request the keys through customer service or the like?
  22. Well, just you wait 'till you got like 10 or more of 'em... >_< The thing is, I wonder when one's able to use more than Unrelenting Power and and Whirlwind Dash, or what was it again. Guessing it's after getting all three words for each shouts. So it's off to comb every place to find 'em words walls... You might want to check the Nexus for some resolution. There might be some sort mod available, that could enhance the keying. So far I've been satisfied with the custom system. Although SkyUI is a must. The original inventory/magic-system is just mindboggingly clumsy... And yep, I think the Elven set is quite nice for starters, once you get the coin. And if you wanna play by the rules, every spared weight unit matters. I found it tedious clomping back and fro to a merchant when I was sweeping places, so I took a Bag of Holding to aid with all the clutter. Things get easier when you have a house, where you can store all the stuff, but that costs, and it can be a chore to go back to the manor to forge some stuff. Other thing which wouldn't break immersion quite so much and keep lore friendly, could be a Dwemer automaton summon, if I remember correctly. Who wouldn't want 'em spideys carrying their stuff for them and so on. I'll stop my ramblings here and post a few more screenies, but now off to catch some z's.
  23. Now that you mentioned it, Gogo, 3'rd spring for me here. Well, active that is. Used to stalk the builds'n stuff back with the Underworld days, but still. Time sure flies by. Luckily, I own nice long sleeved woolie. Bought it from a friend a waaay back when he had a street clothes shop. Good thing he had variety there. Gonna miss some Northern Lights, but it's not too long ago when I was sick, so I don't plan to play with it. And the street lights would mess it somewhat nonetheless.
  24. Thanks Omni. Oh, and they're all Noirals, btw. Dunno really why I haven't touched the vanilla races at all. And for the record, all's gonna be lychantrophes. That race doesn't want to be vampires, evah! For being undead makes funky business for their contact with the nature. Stats dropping and so on. Might even be they'd lose that nifty familiar. Haven't checked that one. About HD-textures; do give it a go if you have at least 1GB of memory for the GPU. I went little cheap and got a mod armor, which outsold my Elven gear, but Shizuka used to sport full Elven set. I planned to reinforce on into Mystic one. Mod once again, but haven't done it yet. Mainly cause those pieces need flawless gems.
  25. Yeah, that she is Omni, that she. And looks really happy on most of the vids. Well, at least, when the atmosphere is right. Just watched the Skyrim one once again. Somehow makes me all giddy and upbeat.
