  1. Knucks: It deffo has it's ups and downs, living in the shore. We've been waiting for some snow up here in north. Sure, I don't like it too much, but it would lighten up this bleary landscape quite much. We actually had about 20cm snow, but then in came heavy rain, aaaand... It's gone... Temps alter around +4C to -1-2C. And either rain or cloudy. Managed to get a glimpse of sun yesterday evening, but it's all cloudy again. Wants to use me sunglasses soon..
  2. Hmm, mebbe I should finally give in and check out the Act 3. Been putting this kinda on hold, waiting for the final wipe. Wouldn't want to loose all those nice goodies I could stumble upon before that...
  3. Lena Headey, anyone? I know it's little off, but guess I should really put Sarah Connor's Diaries on the platter to get more of her. I'm pretty sure I'd give this movie a go, if I happen to have the money, when it arrives around here. Mind you, does this nifty 3D work with us with eye-glasses? Been wondering that for quite some time...
  4. If there's ever more "soap" like this, I'll be all ears. Books arrived yesterday and man, that's really a bunch of literature. Gonna take some serious reading to chew 'em down. Still, there's some nice time as season 3 is scheduled to start 31st of March 2013. And gotta agree with the actors, Gogo. Some really nice pics there. Hoping it gets even better, if possible with 3rd season, seeing what a smash hit it became.
  5. Well, to be frank, it's gawdawful in my books. Never going to use it myself. Pure Windows 7 as long as it's all good and kicking. The interface just isn't for tabletop use and because of the looks I'm going to steer away from all mobile products with either Eight or WP. Personally can't seem to stomach them no matter what. Android's the way for me. But if one finds it comfy and all, then by all means, that's really cheapo for M$-product.
  6. What little news I had already read today, it's really hitting the States hard. Hoping there'll be as few casualties as possible...
  7. Oh, my condolences too, Delta. That topic really is all too actual to me too. Still have both parents up and running, but it could as well be one of these days when either of them's gone. Pops had Altzheimer for almost two years now and his health is rapidly going down. Hoping he's hanging there, so there's some sort of time to get ready. Still, it'll hit like a speeding pendolino when it happens. I guess this round's on me. To the Life it self. *Cheers*
  8. One word; Winter. Yeah, first snowfalls even this "south". I'm sure they'll melt aways one of these days, but still, winter's comming...
  9. Time to do some necroing... This series has been on my to watch- list for quite some time and finally started it with a friend over the weekend. Going to watch the last 5 eps of season 2 next weekend, both got totally hooked to it. And I instantly fell in love with the theme. Gotta admit, it's full of most deranged and sick characters I've ever seen. Would gladly throw Jaime and Jofffey of the Wall to name some. Pretty sure I'll be getting my hands on the books in waiting of the third season. New addiction has risen.
  10. Can't really say... As I've never had two games, say two comps up and running. I've only done extensive set/unique, etc hoarding on single machine. Collecting the goodies either from Bravemarket or bosses, importing sp char, creating, or loading, if suitable co-op already existed. And dumping all the goodies there. Save, rinse, lather and repeat. Had all those wonderful hoards which would make any of the great wyrms pale in comparison, but alas! No backups and hd died on me. Never really got the swing for it again... But enough of pointless reminiscing. Hopefully someone has more helpful comments in store for you, Bond. ^^
  11. Dragon: Nearly forgot about whatsapp. Very neat little program there. Been using it for some time and very satisfied with it. No need for SMS with friend who have it. essjayehm: Guess there's some benefits in living a small country like Finland. We only have 3 major operators and nowadays they work almost wherever one goes. Possibly not counting some farther reaches of Lapland or something.
  12. Gave up on the prepaids couple of years ago. They were just too expensive for my usage, being as talkative as I am. Or at least was until I got sick on the summer... But that's another story. So, I've been using a telephone subscription with mobile data for those couple of years. Been handy many times. I usually check bunch of stuff with phone when on the move. Even paid some bills with a web bank applet, when normal browser-one has been malfunctioning. Seriously, I guess I wouldn't get by without it nowadays. And quite cheap, actually. At least here. About 3-4€ per month. Only 512kbs, but that's enough for mobile. At least for me. There are pricier options, but seeing my bill is around 30-40€ per month with phone and all, I try to snip away where ever I can.
  13. Well, whaddaya know. Never answered this topic, although I use to browse the site on mobile every now and then. So far no complaints. The default skin looks all fine and dandy. Though I just noticed the Halloween skin acts up a little. At least on my GS2's default browser. The top banner is somewhat cut before the exclamation mark and the rest is on "the next line", so to speak. Shoulda check it on some other browser just for the heck of it.
  14. I might eventually get it, when prices come down a bit, or when there's a nice sale on Steam. Having so much to play, so not really interested to invest on another full-priced games atm. I was somewhat uneasy about this reboot, as I've been fan of the first two X-Coms and spent a whole lotta time in both. And seeing couple of other oldies getting dumbed down sequels, etc. Namely Syndicate...
  15. At times like these, it makes me than grateful to live around here in Finland. Yeah, there might be small ones here and there, but not where I live atm. Bet that was a one experience you wouldn't want to frequent, eh?
  16. Yeppo. Both Torchlight and PoE are on my list too. Though, I'm keeping PoE on hold until open beta and the swipe. I don't find it too thrilling to grind up stuff, just to end up loosing it on reset... TL 2 really is getting me into it, being sucker for the original game. After few minutes it was like returning home, so to speak. If only one could split into too to doubly enjoy gaming, TL2's loosing big time to Tales of Graces f, xD
  17. Wish, I could send some rain there, Jason. Been raining at least some nearly every day this week... And if forecasts are right, it'll continue still... Perfect excuse to stay indoors, true. But some sunshine every now and then would be nice.
  18. Aegis: As a personal preference, I like the original best. Dio being classic and all. And I've liked Ronnie's works for quite some time. After a friend introduced me to older Rainbow and such. As for me, this one has gotten quite much playtime as a single song. I even liked the English version, which is quite rare. Although the original is best, IMHO. Oh, and that song is the opening of Tales of Graces f. Personally, I'm totally sold to this gem of a game. And amazingly enough, I don't mind the English dub. Geh... Would someone tell, how to get the tube vids to show correctly... -_-
  19. Nice to see it's finally complete. A big hand for the CM-Team for your efforts. Have a few on me Dave: Dunno if I'm misinterpreting it but I think the cap removal is for the different areas in game, so that basically one could grind happily around in either the neighborhood of Thylisium or the Wasteland. Just for an example. CM-crew for confirmation though, as I'm not 100% sure of it...
  20. Been awfully windy for couple of days, along with quite heavy rain and about 10C. I don't mind, seeing it rains mostly at night, but autumn is certainly arrived. Makes me kinda somber every year. Not so much nowadays, but still. Should light up some candles and have some hot chocolate. Gogs: Yep. The shortages usually arrive at the most unconvenient time. Before saving after a long session of gaming and such. Luckily, I got a surplus UPS from a friend, so that I can put PC and PS3 on "emergency power", if need be. Hoping to make the critical saving, whatever it is I'm doing.
  21. Around 14-17 C and relatively fair weather. There was quite big storm on the southern Finland last night. Electricity shortages, and such. Only had quite windy here in inland. It really has it's quircs to live away from the coast.
  22. Hello there, fellow Finn! Welcome to our fine little corner of the internet. Hope you'll have great time.
  23. Falling deeper into the depths of Dragonlance- epic. Finished Chronicles and delving into Legends once again. Too bad all those Fifth Age- books are under the stone. Haven't been able to find 'em directly on European online stores. Luckily place called Alibris helps. Although need to buy 'em from States. More P&H and longer delivery. Oh well, at least they're there.
  24. Trust Gogo do his magic. Welcome aboard, rupozioks. Hope you'll have pleasant stay.
  25. Sheesh, shouldda read this more carefully this morn'. That's what you get browsing stuff still half-sleep. xD Nice find indeed, Bonan, much appreciated. ^^
