  1. If I personally had to pick a weapon skill top specialize in, it would've been duel wield, especially for the seraphim. At the very least, you get two weapons in hand with greater socketing potential. It also makes a huge difference when using Pelting Strikes with it. Beyond all that, I also never put anything into stamina myself. RPH and chance to halve regeneration are pretty big reasons not to bother, plus the build already incorporates focuses. Watching your regeneration is still important, but not as crucial as it was before. Longevity is the bigger issue.
  2. A great way to open up New Years: spicy Chinese. XD And the character, in my opinion, is awesome to begin with. A biggish brute kinda akin to the Hulk and, to a certain extent, Sebastian Shaw, who also has a brain and is very carefree. Not much for me to hate about him. ^^
  3. From the webcomic, Grrl Power, meet the 'first boss' (or rather, the first major villain), Vehemence:
  4. Yay, another year closer to the big four-oh... Ah well. Happy 2015.
  5. Not around as often as I would like, so dropping by to wish everyone a Merry Xmas.
  6. Alright, end of season 2. The finale was kinda 'meh' given the buildup from last episode. All that Grimm and it gets tidied up nice and neatly, complete with Glenda literally fixing the street with a wave of her wand. We get to see other teams fight, with Jaune actually killing a Grimm despite his reservations, and Coco is a beast with that mini gun/case and that diva attitude, along with the rest of CFVY minus Velvet, who has yet to show her box of magic tricks. Sun and Neptune do nothing at all. Mercury and Emerald get to show off if only to keep up appearances as mere students. All in all, though it has interesting developments, such as the whole attack actually a distraction, with the intention of putting General Ironwood in charge of security and bringing the military in... the delivery honestly could've been better. Two things I was hyped for, though. Adam FINALLY shows up, and mystery woman unmasked. Hi mom.
  7. Wish I was rich.

  8. Borrowed the books but never got around to finishing them. Saw the movies of the trilogy, at least the first two. Thank you subtitles. As for what I'm currently reading, not sure how I find them, but I end up getting hooked on them: http://grrlpowercomic.com/
  9. Neopolitan (not surprisingly named after the ice cream given her color scheme) actually appeared first in episode 4 of this season with Torchwick, both during the White Fang meeting, and in the end when she bailed Torchwick out during his fight against team RWBY. Now we really get to see what she's capable of in a fight, and boy is she a slippery one. As for mystery woman, fans are thinking it's either Yang's mother, or Summer Rose, and I could see why. As for Zwei, well, if he could survive being constantly shoved in a tiny container and shipped around the world in said container, I suppose it isn't a huge stretch that he can be lit and turn into a fireball... >> Forget hacking computers like Ein. He's even more awesome. As for the train full of bombs, amazing how no one instantly figured out the plan given the history lesson Oobleck gave. And, yes, it's about time Oobleck showed off. I want one of those Thermos. With Weiss' fight against that chainsaw dude, kinda figured she was going up against a psycho tank. All it took was one opening, and... how the hell is she not cut? And Blake using dust ammunition is all the more impressive, though given who she fought, it's not saying too much. Note, it's been hinted that at least for Ruby she is heavily reliant on her scythe, and though it makes sense that a little girl wouldn't put up as much of a fight as a grown man, the contrast is still quite huge. Welp, they didn't get into the rescue operation too much, so that became a non-issue very quick. And then there's the end of the episode. OK, now THAT is a cliffhanger. That could've been the season finale right there.
  10. Finally saw the latest episode... and I swear this one felt so short. Yes, it's a typical 12 minute episode, but this one felt like it gone by real quick compared to the others. Well, after Oobleck questioned the three girls from the last episode, THAT part more or less got resolved. Had to admit, when learning of Mountain Glenn and the underground network, a part of me felt kinda depressed. That is not a great way to go to say the least.
  11. It's not just the fact Zwei is a Welsh Corgi that many associate him with Ein. The names also stick out (both sound like German numbers), and to some degree the companionship between a weird girl and her dog is what sealed it for me. If we discover him capable of hacking computers, though, then that's just blatant copying. As for this episode, not too surprising, Oobleck is much more than he seems (though I did like Ruby's line of 'We're gonna save the world with Prof. Oobleck-it-sounds-worse-when-you-say-it-I'm-sorry.'). XD. Despite being high on caffeine, not only has he shown off his depth of knowledge, he's also showing a level of perception for his students. He was acting suspicious of the other members of the team when he questioned them, yet looked more confident around Ruby. If he were to never ask that question, it likely has to do with her innocence. Her child-like nature makes her the most honest of the four as we have even seen in the first episode when Ozpin posed that question. As far as he was concerned, her heart was in the right place. The other three, they weren't totally sure. They carried some kind of extra baggage and haven't been honest about their answers. Interesting dynamic thrown in there.
  12. Heh, never expected Ruby to get into much trouble if any, just because any so-called 'setup' against her would have been way too flimsy. Might get a slap on the wrist for going off on her own, but that's about it. Did not expect the general to praise her, though, especially given how he didn't put much hope on so-called 'kids' defending the world. As for Zwei, gee, Cowboy Bebop reference anyone? Don't know which I liked better, the Ice Queen melting before his cuteness, or Blake trying to run from him like her life depended on it. >=3
  13. Hrm... I can't decide whether that was going uphill or downhill from there. o.O
  14. I know, Jaune for that moment grew a brain and ended up helping out three people. As for his new outfit, saw that coming a mile away. My bigger problem isn't the outfit, but rather the character model bothered me. The shading and the blockiness made me gripe more than the clothing he chose. As for Ruby and her little delivery system, it's all the rage these days. Batman got one in the Arkham series, so it's gotta be good. ;p Also, I swear Cinder using weapons is her way of holding back.
  15. Yeah, that's pretty much how I am paying my respects; replaying Sacred 2 and avoiding Sacred 3 like the plague.
  16. You know you dun bad when I keep reading Deep Silver as 'Derp Silver', and I'm not doing it intentionally. Anyways... Its not so easy to do. Sacred 4 would not only need to be a proper ARPG, but it will have a titanic task of undoing the damages from Sacred 3. The lore has to be meticulously rigged to include the blasted nightmare that it is, and there is no way around it... without being a cheap copout... If S4 takes place before S3 - you need to set up the story to include nods to that future. If S4 takes place after S3 - there need to be scars on the world. If S4 takes place in parallel to S3 - You better higher a VERY GOOD story writer who knows the ins and outs of the lore to fill in the colossal holes left by S3. If S4 takes place right before S3 - Give us a pallet of ways to KILL the main villain of S3 - no S3 paradox, all is "fine"... Time mage can be the narrator. I'm personally of the opinion that if a S$ were to be made, you must make a S3: The Apology.
  17. While the basis will be on the S1 design and the Netting of the Gods set... how much freedom are you willing to give for that one? Because it is something I can do provided I be given specifics.
  18. I don't know about a need, but I wouldn't mind something to help 'keep boredom away'.
  19. gogo: Yeah, what he said. I was kinda curious how far the pic went given the reactions on this thread.
  20. I have yet to register to the bug tracker to see the pertinent posts, but I have a bit of an idea. Evil spider, clothed seraphim.
