  1. Never played it online... I figured if anything it would have been similar to DD2 where you have completely separate/individual characters. So how did that work in DS2 then?
  2. I played Dungeon Siege for a bit. But the single player "party" aspect doesn't do it for me, I have no explanation why though. Divinity 2 is a game I've only ever seen other people play online with their friends, and looks quite fun.
  3. You always have these amazing project chattius I woud not know where I would find the time! No grand projects here... Just a whole backlog of little ones. Sometimes I wish we hadn't bought a house.
  4. I don't think there's any benefit special to the beta. When you pre-purchase the game, beta access is included in all tiers.
  5. Are you guys planning to take some time off upon release? The 6th Will be a difficult one for me but I'm feeling tempted to arrange a long weekend - fri/sat/sun/mon.
  6. Just to chime in: And for anyone having a Windows game and Xbox One (X): Sacred 2 somehow got attached to my Microsoft account so I can play it on my XBO if I wanted to, even though I never bought the game on any platform other than PC. I suspect this might have been from a regular disk install, but I have not looked into the mechanics that got me here yet. I use my XBO solely for FH4 however
  7. It's been a while since I've played it, however I never thought of Sacred 2 as the most stable game anyway. I usually saved and restarted...
  8. What else is there to say other than welcome back I know the feeling of picking up an old game, ever since last year or so I've been slowly getting my wife to play some of my favorite childhood games. So I'm currently enjoying some good old Sacred Underworld safe travels!
  9. Bit late to drop in with a crhistmas tune but chattius' post made me think of an awesome version of the classic Silent Night that popped up on my Youtube subscriptions: And I've got quite a few drum'n'bass labels in my feeds, either on Youtube or Spotify. Big fan of liquid dnb with good female vocals. Some of my faves from my deep dive into the archives:
  10. There's some tit-for-tat sharing going on here between family members with Netflix and Spotify, so this might become an issue for us as well. Truthfully, I watch more Youtube than Netflix, apart from the occasional binge of a show with not too many episodes. But getting Netflix would mean we would probably switch out more. Like how every now and then we get Amazon Prime for a month. And I really want to get a few months of crunchyroll premium when I have some more time to spare as well. I don't really see the point of having more than 1 subscription though. So disabling account sharing will mean our money will probably be spent elsewhere, definitely not on a continuous membership.
  11. I feel bad, this does ring a bell somewhere in the nooks and crannies of my memories, but I can't give you any more than just that statement. I just recall some mention of this, aeons ago it feels like.
  12. Do you mean you lose the rest of the HUD? Even the buttons to the settings?
  13. So I really wanted to get a new pc this year for D4, but sadly it looks like I'll be stuck on the same system I'm running now. Trying to spend my money elsewhere at the moment. I allowed myself a budget of around 500 euros to update it as much as makes sense. So I bought a second hand screen (27 inch 1440p 144hz G-SYNC/FreeSync compatible) and a second hand graphics card (GTX 1080) and I'm hoping this will suffice to enjoy the game when it comes out. I have NOT looked at any information on D4 so I have no idea what the game is going to be like, but I've played the hell out of D2 and enjoyed D3 even with it's flaws, so I'm hoping D4 will be a good experience as well. Plus, reading that the necro is back in the main selection pretty much seals the deal for me. I hated that it was an expansion character in D3. What are the chances this will make it to an official [D.a.r.k] clan game?
  14. I tried to login from my work laptop and it seems fine. No idea why... Will try again on my pc. @gogoblender EDIT: seemed to be something with cookies. Which is weird. Because I hadn't visited the wiki in FireFox yet, I'm pretty sure.
  15. Hi gang, was wondering if anyone else is having issues logging into the wiki at the moment. I'm introducing my wife to my favorite games (that we're able to play co-op), and we picked up Sacred this weekend. I wanted to update some quests with information, but my login doesn't work; I get an error message every time I try: And my login attemps continue to fail. I tried disabling all tracking protection etc, switched between firefox and edge, nothing seems to help.
  16. Cool, the unreal engine really is an interesting piece of kit. However, looking at the latest video I doubt this will ever be a finished remaster, holy moly that looks like a lot of work.
  17. Discovered a new band yesterday with an... interesting... aesthetic and sound: Ghost I listened to their "This is Ghost" playlist on Spotify at work today. Pretty good.
  18. Not that I know of, no. And I find having to resort to guides a little disappointing, to me that mainly indicates that the skill system is either imbalanced in some way or poorly explained. To be honest, I was doing quite fine without any skills at all and just dumping points in my mastery. Granted I was playing on the lowest difficulty. To me Titan Quest became repetitive too quickly. I felt Grim Dawn changed scenery and opponents in a more fitting way. Also I'll never forget getting stuck on a stupid lich on my first playthrough of Titan Quest which absolutely destroyed my enthusiasm. 1. Completely agree. I found a crossbow at around level 20 and I was still using it at level 40+ because the stats were too good to give up. Regular DPS seemed abismal, but the damage output of my skills dropped severely whenever I tried switching it out. 2. Yup. 3. Not there yet, and never did more than a playthrough of TQ either so can't really comment on it 4. True. All in all I think I agree on your points, however I feel that Grim Dawn seems to have a better pace that suits my preferred playstyle and that was one of the things which I liked less about TQ.
  19. One thing I dislike about the game though, the same issue I had with TQ, is that builds really are quite difficult to get right on your first few characters without actually following one. Playing D3 I never felt I had that issue. Playing Sacred 2 or S1 once you got the hang of regen timers you were pretty much fine and a lot of builds are fairly obvious. I feel TQ and Grim Dawn are on a different level. Not PoE, thank god, but still a lot more complicated. I started with Shaman and was getting on pretty well against normal mobs but struggling with tanky bosses, until I found a guide that basically told me to delete the main skill I was invested in and stick all my points in another - which quite literally increased my damage output by 50-80%. Without that guide I would have never figured out based on the descriptions that I should make that new skill my main attack, and would render my old skill fairly useless in the process.
  20. Although I posted this 2 years ago, I just bought Grim Dawn - the base game - a few days ago. It rocks, I really like it. The game feels a lot smoother than Titan Quest and the bounty system is an interesting take on grinding for a bit every sesh. Though it could have been a little more simple for my taste... As Knuckles mentioned, having to manage 10 resistances does get a little complicated. I managed to kill myself on my first playthrough (currently somewhere in act 3 I think?) to a looong patch of Aether where my potions weren't keeping up.
  21. Well I goofed up today! First off, hi everyone been a while... Just to be clear: I have a bit of a sweet tooth. During my lunch break I went for a walk, ended up at a grocery store picking up a bag of sugar free candies. Seemed a little healthier than a regular bag of sweets. Well, maybe it would be - if I could control myself. By the time I pretty much polished off the entire bag (I love that saying by the way) while working, my belly had been rumbling. That had me wondering. And actually reading the label. Why yes, the baggy told me, you, my good sir, are a moron because consuming copious amounts of these sweets will work as a laxative it's been 5-6 hours and I'm still not OK send help
  22. The racing setup is currently disconnected @gogoblender because we need the room to house my mother in law for a bit. We've actually had to rearrange our "office space" for it so she has some room to herself. It was a fun weekend, thankfully not the 31 degrees Celsius it is now but it was humid yesterday. Exciting race though! Now a last day to chill out and get ready to go back to work again.
  23. Well Floor Jansen will be singing our national anthem on Sunday so I’ll be fine We’re staying in a hotel in Haarlem, which is fairly close to the track. Don’t get the fuss with Dillenburg either chattius, those people must have a terrible sense of direction since the track is on the opposite side of our little country…
  24. *stumbles in* Hi all, been awhile work has been non-stop after our summer holiday, thankfully me and the missus have tomorrow off... We'll be spending the weekend away from home because the Dutch GP is this weekend! It will be our second time @ the Dutch GP, and our third F1 race we'll see live. Really looking forward to spend a few days away and outside, the weather will be lovely as well. Have a nice weekend everyone
