  1. not going to lie, it was like 10000 years long. I felt that the movie moved really slow, and I wasn't a big fan of the plot. -Total
  2. hmmm. *passes a 10*... I'd check with your bank on that one... that happened to me, turns out something I'd bought off the internet... someone jacked my debit card account... good thing I only had 70 bucks in the account lol =D... still, made it hard to pay my puppy's vet bill with no cash... -Total
  3. ty schot. I have heard Frusciante mention Faith as an influence... but I dont know how reliable the source is. speaking of RHCP... Dani California... the most recent song me and my bros have covered. can't get enough of it. -Total
  4. haha, I JUST yesterday started a soaring daemon/open wounds daemoness. I figured I'd capitalize on power and be able to escape danger. I didn't realize I was actually suicidal! -Total
  5. Touchee. I think that the english license absolves you of any sins that you thought you committed. although, the use of such patch is deemed illegal the creation of such patch is still legal, so go for it. I'm sure some daring gamers will bend a few laws here and there to play the mod. (I AM IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM ENCOURAGING ANYONE TO BREAK THE LAW. DO NOT BREAK LAWS. ITS BAD. I'M JUST SAYING WHAT I THINK WILL HAPPEN. SHAME ON YOU, YOU NAUGHTY LAWBREAKERS.) -Total
  6. I'm with schot. good work on the hard work. I hope things work out... on a side note, Welcome to FDM! -Total
  7. IMHO, Supernatural Superserious is probably R.E.M.s best song since Orange Crush. gotta love REM, and I cannot wait until the new CD comes out! you can buy S S on itunes for 99 cents (USD), or wait to get the CD... I opted to wait because I hear supernatural on the radio all the time... but Accelerate is definitely a cd worth buying. -Total
  8. speaking of which - EPIC - by Faith No More... Followed by a little Chloe Dancer - Mother Love Bone... anyone remember them? old school grunge, lead singer OD-ed, like every other great grunge singer, minus eddie vedder/chris cornell/scott weiland... basically im referring to layne from alice in chains... well, the demise of Mother Love Bone created a new project (which was also short-lived) called Temple of the Dog, who brought us such classics as Hunger Strike, and Reach Down, and Say Hello 2 Heaven... (the band was basically Pearl Jam and Soundgarden Mixed... Matt Cameron on drums (from PJ & Soundgarden), Stone Gossard on rhythm guitar (PJ), Mike McCready on lead Guit (PJ), Jeff Ament on Bass (PJ), Eddie Vedder & Chris Cornell on vocals (PJ and soundgarden, respectively). not to mention jeff ament and stone gossard were both members of mother love bone, and chris cornell was Andrew Wood's roommate before he OD'ed... well this era of grunge basically made me the way that I am, because I grew up listening to that beautiful trashy guitar and painful sound of broken drumkits... jack irons (ex-pearl jam, ex-red hot chili peppers ... he might be back with them, idk) used to use trash can lids he found on the side of the road for cymbals for his drumkit. thats grunge at its best. well, thats my little story of my childhood and love of grunge. take a listen sometime if you feel the need. great music, lots of emotion in it. take care all! -Total
  9. I actually know an irish midget... I wish I coulda seen him today. but since I cant see my real leprechaun, I think schot's avy will do. -Total
  10. speaking of people policing themselves... it seems you are right gogo. my dept's taking a budget cut, and it looks like I may have to go. we'll see how it works out in the next few weeks, but I completely understand what they're trying to get people to do... only problem is most people arent responsible enough to police themselves. not only that, it seems some cops arent responsible to police other people! so far this year, 4 cops in my state have been arrested, 2 for drug dealing, one (a state trooper, who I knew and considered a friend) for 11 counts of armed robbery, and 1 for forging overtime slips... what is this world coming to? it almost seems like the apocalypse is coming, with the way people are acting. what I never understood is why people had to be genuinely disrespectful and uncaring towards other humans! criminal behavior should be taught at a young age that it is inappropriate and morally wrong. the problem (where I am at least) is that criminal behavior is supported here, especially since the public views the local cops as crooked. so maybe self-policing is what we need for a while, so people learn to appreciate what the police do for them. people will always need police, and police will always need people. its like the circle of life (at least my life lol). I couldnt imagine a world where everyone was responsible to take care of themselves (god I wish it were so though) but yes gogo, I agree with you, that people are seeing that technology can replace the job of police officers. -Total
  11. Happy St. Patrick's Day all, hope you have a festival! travel safe, drink merrily, and enjoy! -Total
  12. whats worse is when you get people who obscure their license plate so they can avoid the ticket from running red lights. on my way home from work the other night, some moron blew by me at a high rate of speed, I turned to get the plate, and the guy had the plate covered. jerk... -Total
  13. whenever I wake up early yonder mornin's, I try to make it a point to do something to make myself relax. I'll try to go out to find some homemade food in someone else's kitchen, or go for a ride with the top down on the convertible, or watch the wildlife in the backyard. anything to just help me unwind. if any of these appeal to you/are available to you, I suggest them. it feels good inside to just chillax. -Total
  14. I thought about putting an ubuntu bumper sticker on my amigo's patrol car... then I thought about that being a bad idea... never tried the linux, but I've heard good things... maybe next computer I will partition a few gigs to ubu. -Total

  16. HOLA EVERYONE! Total's BACKK! HI CLAIRE!! MISS YOU <3! sry I've been out so long without announcement, lots has been going on in the total household. just know that I missed y'all and will hopefully be back on more frequently now. I'm sorry to hear about your news undon3, but on the bright side, I'm convinced that there is a better place for good people, and that those children will grow up striving to make the same kind of impact in their lives as their father did. I know someone who's father died in her infancy, and she took it to heart. she is one of the most wonderful people that I know, and its because she lives her life the way she knows her dad wanted her to. there's always a bright side, although you might not always see it. nonetheless, condolences to the family. I know that can be a very hard loss to take. again all, great to be back, sorry for not announcing my godknowshowlong leave of absence / hiatus -Total
  17. aww welcome back ari *pours beer* I'll share a drink with ya! -Total
