  1. You can attack the heart of the machine using a ranged weapon and hold attack in it's direction. Life leech% modifier is very important as I remember to get it's crazy health down relatively quickly
  2. Very close, I believe it's magic, fire, ice, then poison last
  3. This is solid gold, and if S3 doesn't go the way we hope then I will definitely be spending my time enjoying Grim Dawn
  4. Just had to kite this bugger for about 10 minutes for the kill, but that damage output from its skills is crazy
  5. I have some mixed feelings about how fast the health regens, because it makes it into a sort of kite-fest. However some of those monsters hit HARD! I died about 3 times to the same group of mages in one of the beginning caves
  6. This game...is incredible It's like an updated version of Titan Quest, and it plays so nice. Have only run into a few problems so far, but the Alpha build seems stable enough. Still hard to believe a 6-man team of devs came up with this one. Absolutely incredible!
  7. Although I am not essjayems, I believe it can reach a respectable amount of damage. The best evidence I can find is Vaclaf supporting its damage potential in his Mechanix Lost Fusion build found here http://darkmatters.org/forums/index.php?/topic/14253-mechanix-x-e-ice-and-blood/
  8. With Eth and Knuckles so excited about this game for the last year, I decided to give myself a birthday present and grab the alpha access. Had no idea there was a rotational camera!
  9. Hmm, the only problem I've encountered with both the Phantasms/Shatter Area of Effect is that the mob dies too quickly for them to even get off that first attack chain. Didn't even realize the GS#5 did damage
  10. So recently I've been trying to get into the playstyle of the Mesmer and I absolutely love it. It requires a lot more concentration and skill pushes than my current Thief does, but there is one problem that I seem to have run in to - Dynamic Events. When I play the Mesmer I can only seem to get Bronze and Silver awards, but very rarely I might pick up a gold if it's a single champion event. So my question is - how do you Mesmer players handle these events? The best strategy I've tried so far has been to throw the greatsword #2 and then switch over to staff for the bounces, but I'd like to hear some other opinions!
  11. I've been trying to get into the Mesmer lately, so this has been a fantastic read/watch. Out of curiosity, do you remember what weapon/s you used to get through the early levels (1-15ish)? I was thinking the Staff would be a good option because early level your clones don't do any damage, but with the Staff they would be causing conditions through Winds of Chaos.
  12. Sent! Enjoy your time on the superior PC version
  13. Remember if using that build to do all the careful reading within it to see which skills/combat arts need to be changed for consoles. I know Vaclaf talked a lot about how his builds translate over to console so it's well worth the read. Best of luck!
  14. There's also a debuffing/reflection combo involving Jolting Touch followed by Primal Mutation. I believe both of these are modded as JT- Payback, Self Repair, Shelter (DO NOT pick self repair on consoles as it is broken) PM- Either, Helpless, Helpless
  15. I agree that it's not very Sacred at all, but it was certainly a decently fun game. If they had put another brand on the game I feel that it may have been better received, but the gameplay is still fun to boot up for a couple minutes and smash some monsters.
  16. I like the idea of a new subforum for the game, especially because I'll be scouring information from wherever I can once it comes out
  17. I think it works ok up to mastery level. Then the damage bonus is not applied I think? Vaclaf's Temple Guardian guides go over the details in depth.
  18. But what about the cookies? We are the D.a.r.k side aren't we? Bit late here, but welcome to Darkmatters Saraphima
  19. Hey there TwinPower, good to hear from ya! I also have about 10 beta keys to give out if anyone is interested in a very competitive MOBA experience. Although the game has a brutal learning curve, it's a ton of fun with friends and definitely tests your team work skills. Maybe they should start using it as an icebreaker at office meetings
  20. Awesome, great to finally see the final character! From the videos I got that she was some sort of battlemage (sword and magic), but that PS Blog makes it seem like its just an offensive mage? Then what does the shaman come under? Defensive mage?
  21. Preordered the game today! Can't wait for release
  22. I log from time to time in SC to check out the changes. Definitely like the changes that I have seen so far, and hope they continue to add more goodies into the game. Maybe I'll run into ya'll a bit more often
