gogoblender 3,070
It's pretty fantastic huh. I've seen scaling models like this before, and it never fails to astonish me at how "small" we are... And, have you guys ever seen any of the scaling models that go backwards ? Everything's really is so relative gogo Link to comment
fRACTAL 0
Wait this has been posted on FDM before I must find it! ~Doom P.S. It really does put our existance in perspective! EDIT: Da daaa....... Edited February 8, 2008 by TimOfDoom Link to comment
myles 2
I don't know these planets, never good with starwatching whatsoever. Are these planets solid? Jupiter really isn't quite a planet IMO, being a giant gas mass and all that. Link to comment
gogoblender 3,070
It is a planet..just a bloated, gassy one. Eat two cans of beans and you'll know what I mean gogo Link to comment

Knuckles 904
singing "earth's a small world after all...." Never knew there were suns(and planets?) that huge. I never cease to be amazed at what is out there in space Link to comment

Katran 0
Oh what you should really ask yourself is what the all knowing scientists where thinking when the chose to declare Pluto no longer a planet. Simply on its size. So whats next if they chose to compare the Sun and Antares then based on that size comparison the Sun should not be a star. Link to comment
stubbie 21
Sorry to nick pic, but............ Pluto in the second pic is a lot smaller in comparison to the other planets than in the first pic. That's unfortunate for me to see, because now I don't believe any of the comparisons are true to scale stubbs Link to comment
th3undon3on3 0
Pluto in the second pic is a lot smaller in comparison to the other planets than in the first pic. Other planets? Are you inferring that Pluto is a planet? Link to comment
stubbie 21
Other planets? Are you inferring that Pluto is a planet? When I did my science project some 40 years ago it had Pluto in the solar system as a planet. Old habits are hard to change. Thats my story and I'm sticking to it stubbs Link to comment
