  3. Actually, it looks like he's trying to run the tool in Windows/System32, whereas the game is installed in C;\Program files\etc... Hopefully following the below instructions is sufficient to help him out.

  4. This looks like a Windows permissions issue. It looks like you have this program installed in Windows\System32 - this is not the correct location and could explain why you've had so many issues. That folder is a highly protected folder in Windows. The Program Files folder can also be protected and cause numerous issues with mods. You need to have S2rw in your Sacred install folder, inside the sub-folder called "system" I recommend to always install games somewhere like "C:\" or in a custom folder like C:\Games

  8. This happens because for some stupid reason the game assumes an nVidia card is installed by default (and thus you get the error because you have an AMD card which of course does not have PhysX or the PhysX driver installed). You need to manually install the Legacy PhysX driver from nVidia's site, even if you have an AMD/ATI card for the game to start. The more recent update to the GOG installer of this game fixed this issue by scripting in an installation of the Legacy PhysX driver, but the Steam (Gold Edition), still needs to have this done manually if you use an ATI/AMD card.

  9. I just wanted to thank the community for developing this mod. I have only just purchase the game on PC and I had played it a lot on PS3 (with broken controls). I cannot wait to enjoy this game properly.

  10. If you want to decode global.res, then s2rw needs to be in the same folder, so inside the locale folder for your language. For decoding you can just run the program and go from there. For encoding, it needs to be in the Sacred 2 system folder (so I have two copies of s2rw sitting in my Sacred 2 folder). For encoding you have to use command prompt. Direct it to start in the /system folder and enter the command: S2rw.v1.7exe globalEn_texts.txt En+ That's for English. For Italian it would look like: S2rw.v1.7.exe globalIt_texts.txt It+ The language abbreviations are "De", "En, "Fr", "Ru", "Cz", "Pl", "It", "Hu", and "Sp". This also assuming you didn't rename the decoded text file to something else.
