  1. very very nice image there Timo. The sharpness along with the blur along the edges is really cool. gogo
  2. The books and scrolls just blow me away. Just lately we've been doing a lot of digging and delving into all of the content in the game...scrolls, books, and especially the log book. Brilliant Let's hope there are as many cooks for the sequel as the first. Nice find there Tim +++ gogo
  3. Good looking game. I remember playing adventure quest, when Jun posted up about it. I actually found it very cool because up to about that time I hadn't realized how in-depth browser games could get...in fact, the level of animation from adventure quest really threw me for a loop. Adventure Quests very well thought out strategies on how to get players to buy things for the game, as well as their constant releases was a paradigm shift for me. Browser games had gone beyond what ogame's series of clicks and rather austere calculations had setup as the standard... Browser games with graphics had made the scene. If this game is anything at all like what AdventureQuest was, Epox...it's no wonder you have your hands full. Hey...where can I get a job as a pizza pilot. gogo
  4. Stubbie, hello and finally...a great, warm big welcome to you! lol, we finally get to fete you here in our home DarkMatters style. There's a few bars, I know of your expertise with the amber drink, enjoy our little place here and ...lol, I'm with Claire, here. Ever since I saw The Witcher, something about it fascinated me... was the game any good? I know that they'd put a lot of work into getting the combat down right, and all of the write-ups I'd read about it earlier really pointed to some great amospherics. gogo
  5. ahh, true...I just realized the character "kara" is new...from the new series only... so you're right, the name could not have been taken from BSG gogo
  6. Thought the film wasn't all I'd expected it to be, in many ways it was much more than I'd expected these days when it seems like every graduating project from a special effects school makes it to the big screen these days I loved the books, did especially enjoy the white witch (though I think I enjoyed the white witch better from the spoof of the movie from Epic Move ) And...guess this one's being added to the summer roster. gogo
  7. Viper that's a VERY cool idea.... I'm a huge fan of the series, and I would never have thought of that... Now you got me wondering... do you think it's really from there? gogo
  8. heh, haven't posted a desktop of mine since this thread started, I finally did a clean up and now I'm almost thread bare but...good news is..I finally tracked down an image I like... and I really like this one. gogo p.s. Claire, your image is your choice of typical sharp stuff, nothing beats out good ole analog clocks huh
  9. It's true, while ten million can seem like a lot...it goes really fast once you really want to start tinkering with builds. Especially in Closed games, all attempts with experimentation all cost money. Want to try a new approach with socketing something new? Kaching. Want to try a new colored contrail for your weapons? Kaching ooooh, nice new saddle for the horsie... Kaching! I've blown through millions of dollars in a single sitting over the course of a few minutes just going into the smithing/dressing room while trying out all sorts of different ideas...while minutes later much to my horror/chagrin... aieeeeeeeeeee...all the money ...gone! gogo
  10. Good lord, almost missed this one! Happy Birthday to one of this site's first four founding members! Party on Jun! gogo
  11. heh, love the clever fleet setup Ike... did you go to school down "south" Nice hit, and it's good seeing the account getting it's comeupance (wow, always wanted to use that word) Justice makes its rounds Gratz gogo
  12. Good questions. It's things like this that are going to get very very complicated. Remember, it was only a few patches into Sacred where they finally got all the quest and campaign rules properly fleshed out, at the beginning all kinds of wonky things were able to be done, with being able to buy uniques in stores, and being able to do all kinds of exploits. With the pushing back of the release of the game all the way to fall next year, I bet a lof of these very complicated questions will probably get answered...with us doing a lot of of the answering when the game is released! gogo
  13. wow lol, that's sick...is alienware actually making that? How much's it cost? I'll start knitting a bigger stocking right away for next year gogo
  14. And, a few days of sneezing and wheezing has brought me back here home, I'm just going to sit around and enjoy the smiles I see on all of your faces...healthy smiles...non-coughing smiles... ^^ And...if anyone's fixed that steamer, maybe some a steamie with a little bailey's thrown in for good luck? gogo
  15. ahhh, schot's lost to this game now... see kat what you've gone and done gogo
  16. Ahhh, I forgot about that thread... Great memory and good find! gogo
  17. It's funny, after just doing a bunch of quest work for the database, King Arnum keeps popping up... Seems like Sacred Lore is a bit more interesting that I ever gave it credit for. ^^ gogo
  18. Wicked project knuckles! I don't think I've seen anyone add gravestones to SacredWiki yet. And...sounds like another page for the Wiki database... so much info to be tracked down gogo
  19. Yeah all fun and good until you run into one of these... Bon apetit gogo
