  1. The crash happened also with my second DW Druid. Well, she had same buffs on. AB and SP. Also, tried it on freeplay with my DW seraphim. Running with BS and WE. Nearly gor him before the portal and first attack, but wasn't fast enough to kill him... Seems like my installation is corrupted in worst case some way. Seeing Grumpy didn't have probs with his TG. tI'll try resetting CM-patch tomorrow to see if that helps....
  2. @chattius: That's one helluva annoying plant... We do have troubles with some variants here too. Really hard to get rid of, and quite toxic... Poor girl, those blisters are bound to be really painful. Resembling sunburns of quite a degree. And to think that some brought it here as an ornamental plant. dang. >_< @Lord Extravaganda: Some of the things I really hate too. Those damn pests crying their brains out when not gettin what they want. Ugh... On the top ten list of my hated things too. @Timo: Really? I couldn't too that myself, really. Must be punded to the spine. Like with no putting your elbows on table when eating. Though I do that when I'm alone. Guess it's all about appearances.
  3. Ayup. Noticed that too. Sure, you can get a hit or two, but it works million times better with pipes, bows and staves. Luckily RI does it job and it's somewhat Area of Effect when fully modded. Currently middle twenties, I'll do some intestive testing to see, what should I pick later on to boost survivability.
  4. I'll be giving this a go too. Might just go somewhat different way with some skills. Was somewhat coincidental what when I got yet another unique sword with my EP Staff Dryad, it came to my mind too. So, I'll be dropping EP, and picking Swords lore instead, since couple of my chars will yield all nescesary stuff. It's true that the rates aren't stacking, but since going with DW seraphim with Swords I've been itching to try it with some other chars.
  5. D'oh! Why didn't I notice that earlier? *facepalm* From what I've experienced, those things really work. Mebbe it could be possible to connect that default search button to the Google search? About the topic; peeked few reviews and noticed it's not very appreciated game. Kinda like it was when I check out Sacred 2. Might really be and intriguing one, that Divinity.
  6. Yeah, that one. Might it be it's little upspecific? Or it might be my head; sleep deprived and melted by the current heatwave...
  7. Thanks Gogo. I thought I ran somewhat decent search to see, if this existed already. I'm gonna blame the heat. >_< Well, guess I'll try to hook up the orginal. I read there are some decent deals out there.
  8. Does any of our peeps have firsthand experiences with this game? Worth getting it? I've also read that the first Divinity game is somewhat decent, any ideas about 'em in general?
  9. Was little suprised as he never tried to get off the pit earlier. And I was using magic staff build with Ancient Bark and Sinister Predator up and running. At first I could swing few RAvaged Impacts at him, but once he starts charging that stone thingy game crashes. And both times he was on the wooden stairs, not the bottom, so it might be cause of what you said.
  10. ^ Sometimes it's like playing a shaman with comps. Such strange things occur. But nice to hear it worked out. ^^ I'm sure you'll be able to crank up the graphs a little, if they're not on top, now that DX 10 is avaiable. Hopefully things go well with SG too. Just updating it to latest patch should do the trick.
  11. Indeed one game full of goodness to choose from. As for fDM I presume it would be Followship of Darkmatters. Quite a serious bunch of gamers, eh? Or not, but at least it's the most friendliest place I've ever had to step in. ^^
  12. Oh, rentals... They can really be a pain at worst. Luckily I've only ever gotten positive experiences with 'em, so I consider myself lucky then. Although, when used goods are regarded, you could really get some nasty surprises. Like missing a final disk of a five CD package. Can't remember the game, that was some long time ago, and that's a different story.
  13. Welcome aboard m8! And fellow Finn. Noticed that there are few of us around here. Was a nice surprise. As said in the topic about lurkers it's nice to see 'em coming more active. ^^ Like I was once. Also, would be interesting to hear more about there "strange builds". I've been feeling around the game for few moths now, with a decent hardware, and mostly used the builds already around. And yeah, getting the game to work can be a bit gimmick. I'm really familiar with reinstalling the whole bunch...
  14. Uh oh... Looks like there's something wrong with Gar'Colossus. Seeing that it's killed my game twice in a row. Even after complete restart. Wasn't he inactive earier so that he started to move, when one was near him? For me he just rushed forward, walked up to the green teleport and started to make one of his attacks. Hitting his hand together and releasing something like a stone version of a railgun. Or something like that? That boom, crash to desktop. Playing Dryad currently in SP campaing. If memory servers, I pounded him down with my HE in current version of CM, and no crashes.
  15. chattius: Shouldda thought of that. Really, if I was living at the coast, that might've been an automation. I've heard of many who are used to use sea water when making coffee. On the other hand, I'll just grab some extra salty food to eat. And try to splurge what little cheap mineral waters our shop has... Let's hope you'll get some nice downpour sometime soon. Hoping to get one here too. My strawberries are about to get scorched. And hopefully I can find a nice cheap fan somewhere, as I read they're mostly sold out here. Seeing this isn't going to let out...
  16. Gogo: Really the same here. Comp's forecast shows around 26 to 30 on day time and I know that sensor which sends that is in place which is generally cooler than the others... If the forecast is right, we're supposed to have heavy thunderstorms tomorrow, but I doubt it'll ease this up. Dreeft: Must be cause of the inverted seasons. The northern side of the globe is really suffering with this heat... Ugh, I would really need my daily dosage of caffeine, but I'm sure it'll only makes things worse. >_< Seeing I don't like to drink my coffee cold. xp
  17. chattius: Sounds so darn great... I'm just wondering what we're getting after this darn heat wave.. >_< Wasn't very funny to have hangover, when there's 35 C inside, outside even more... Sweating buckets and all.
  18. rnarchlord: Odd. Oh, mebbe I'm getting lucky with Sacred Gold. It's exactly the same install I made years ago. I'm prolly reinstalled XP thrice and Win7 couple of times and it's never been broken. I'm not really an expert with overclocking and stuff, specially Intel's stuff. Always and AMD.Though my 5400+ runs in 2.96GHz per core very steadily. Reinstalls could work. I kept getting the crashing after couple of minutes without Ice & Blood. Comp mode was only option. In version 2.65.1 everything works just fine.
  19. rnarchlord: Actually, Sacred Gold works just well in my Win 7 64bit Ultimate, without comp mode or anything. Tested just today. Only problem was resolution, my 24" monitor just can't scale it right... And about that Sacred 2; if you have the nevest patch with Ice & Blood, you should be able to play it just fine without compability mode. I'm sure it would crank up the performance, seeing there's no Direct X 10 support for Win XP.
  20. Was a bit pain with the Cursed forest quest, as explained earlier. But at least it's completable. Got my ass served to me on plate by that damn Abishai. (Good bye my SB...) turaki: You referring to that flying thingie? Worked fine for me. Also, noticed a little bit similar thing with the Kerbos' and Servants. Happened after Harbinger summoned them. Moving few inches away solved that for me. Oh, and I've been wondering those quest marks too. Not that I mind though, but they can be little annoying. Noticed after a long way, I had followed a dummy mark, and had to backtrack quite a way.
  21. Guess I said it in the introduction, but repeating yourself isn't that bad in certain occasions. Guess it was around 5 years ago, when I bought Sacred Gold. Cost me about 10€. Sposedly on of the best purchases ever. ^^ Fiddled around with it started to search some guides to the inner workings of the game. Then I stumbled here and the rest is history. ^^ Though there was a long time when I didn't check around. Mostly 'cause I didn't have connection. Then, when I got into Sacred 2 more seriously I checked around again. And here I am.
  22. Aww, darn. Now or never I wish I had something else to boot than measly 2MB wireless... My comp could handle it, but I'm dead sure my connection can't. I'll be with you in spirits. (Or how'd I should say that.)
  23. As with others, I like the idea of these "divine gifts", but at the current state they're quite useless. I actually bind it to other key after summoning the demon couple of times... Maybe tinkering with Devine Devotion would yield something, but that'd be wasting the skill slot... So nope. Though I'm personally attracted to the Sakkara demon, if nothing else, it's kinda good for RP'ing evil charas.
  24. Loco: That'd be about 33,3C, which is indeed enough. Kinda wished I had an A/C too... This wheater sure is killing me... Right after sun rises it starts to heat my livingroom and keeps going to 4 to 5 pm. Makes it almost unbearable. Though I try to keep thinking that in 4 or 5 months there'll be snow and stuff and it's freezing.
  25. Nothing special here. 1'st of June, 1986.
