  1. I have this on pre-order deluxe version as well, and I am looking forward to it. But I have to say I was most disappointed when I heard there is no way to have subways
  2. The problem I found is that whilst it's a truly good game to play, certainly worthy of owning, it loses it's charm after completing it. I know they are trying to make the replay-ability better with things like their Second Wave options they are adding in, but at the end of the day it's hard to escape the repetitiveness of the missions. Even the maps repeat on themselves! I know they changed it slightly from the original to focus on the tactic side of the game and pulled away from more complex stats on soldiers which worked to an extent, but in doing so and coupled with not having randomly generated maps they lost the same replay-ability of the original.
  3. Naughty gogo!! go and buy this game now! It's a fantastic game and fits very nicely along side Sacred 2 for the loot fix and playing around with classes, plus it's cheap. I know D3 stole a lot of it's thunder but I played D3 for about 40mins - 1hour before never playing it again, I played this well over 60hours now and it doesn't lose it's place on my installed games!
  4. I was digging around my hdd and found a nice pic of my brother and I on seraphim Island.
  5. So I've been reading up on all the noob guides dotted around the web to catch myself up on the buzz. To say I've not been doing my homework up to this point is an understatement! Anyway, thought I'd toy around with the following build the guys at guildwars2grandmaster.com have put together, seems like it'll suit my play style and looks to be nicely thought through. Cloak & Dagger Thief Build Weapon Sets (1) Dual Daggers (2) Short Bow Heal Skill (1) Hide in Shadows Utility Skills (1) Shadow Trap (2) Blinding Powder (3) Shadow Refuge Elite Skill (1) Thieves Guild Traits Breakdown Critical Strikes (1) Furious Retaliation (2) Side Strike (3) Hidden Killer Shadow Arts (4) Infusion of Shadow (5) Patience (6) Shadow's Rejuvenation Acrobatics (7) Vigorous Recovery Link Ref: http://guildwars2gra...ical-backstabs/
  6. Hi guys, so I picked up the game at the weekend and although it's running a bit slow (12fps!) I will be kicking around from time to time Currently I'm just getting up a Thief which seems fun, although still doing starter quests. I'll pop my ID in the invites section soon. I'm from the UK but joined up to the US home server you guys are on so I can party when I'm pulling a late one or you are lol... Didn't see the lag being that bad, which was nice.
  7. Well like all ARPGS I simply can't play SC Last night I got myself up a fire spec Embermage on HC Veteran! I've managed to get a ton of Vit and +Health on my gear and bar getting my base Vit to 26 I've poured all the rest into Focus. I have to say that at level 14 I think this is my strongest build so far... lovin it! Long live Zaphod!
  8. Yeh I don't blame you, Veteran can get dicey for sure. In fact not long after that pic I lost the Zerka! ...on with the outlander again
  9. Here's a picture of my level 7 zerka I made this morning.
  10. I have to agree, from what I've played so far this game is spot on. The fantasy fruit machine is tuned perfectly to give you that loot fix, feel somehow OP, yet give you good challenges. I've lost 4 toons so far on HC, currently playing a Veteran SC Outlander to get a feel for things before going back to HC again. My last HC Ice speccd Embermage certainly hurt to lose, but in many ways it made me happy that the game wasn't going to be the face roll that D3 immediately offers you with.
  11. Yeh I've been looking as well. How the hell do you "sell out" on digital copies?! Got a week and a half holiday coming up and this seems like something to get into on the break Will have to pop into the shops on lunch tomorrow!
  12. Thanks for your thoughts, you've convinced me. Think I'll get a copy on my next pay day
  13. Hi there GW2 is something I've been holding off on a bit and still very much am umming and aaring. I'd be interested to know your own impressions/experiences if you wouldn't mind?
  14. Yes I've dabbled in D3, it's nice for a small break from other games. I like it's slickness, but I don't like how the loot tables work in it. It really feels like you are just playing a game to gather gold so you can sit in the AH which really shouldn't be the primary way of getting items. I honestly think that TL2 will blow D3 away in game play aspects, I played the beta and I really enjoyed it. So check it out when it's released it's by Runic Games and the company is made up from some of the original D1 team. ...oh and I'm a lurker I keep popping my head in to see what you guys are up to...
  15. Still jump on here and there, certainly not as much as I used to. The game I'm looking forward to is Torch Light 2, I can see that giving me a better loot fix than D3 currently is.
  16. I found this quite fascinating. ...I also changed all my passwords after watching it! Really makes you think; it's obvious gold sellers are never going to be stopped, even with the best software to stop botting and an exploit free game. So I wonder how could games in the future work around or with them to stop ruined economies or spoil a game for traditional players.
  17. Gogo that nearly brought a tear to my eye. I'm so disillusioned these days by games that play to the masses. MMO's are a good example, but you can see it in every genre now. There is no risk and reward and complexity is replaced by simplicity; It's a shame, and I expect you're right, that sacred 3 will fall into the deeply beaten path, rather than wander solely off into the sunset with a handful of lone rangers.
  18. Do you try to drop the minions first? and does she re-summon them?
  19. Well my poor poor dryad had her arse handed back to her after a second attempt of trying to fell the Succubus Anyone have any tricks with this mini-boss? I was running a "cheat" Magic Staff dryad build and meet her around level 27. The amount of damage she and her minions output was tough to say the least. My squishy (RIP) dryad, is reborn again and pushing back up to level 17, but I'd really like to take this biatch out in an act of pure evil vengeance!

  23. OK I've finished as much as I can do. I don't have multilingual skills unfortunately, so it's all in English. All credits should still go to tapir, I've done nothing but add in Dragon Mage to help you fellow DM builders. Feel free to comment if you notice any errors.
  24. What would have been nice is that the unarmed combat moves worked with fist weapons, I could see a lot more interest in the builds if it were so. I wonder if it's something our CM guys have in mind. At the moment they are associated with hafted weapons which maybe the issue why not, perhaps they could lower the damage of the weapon and not have them joined to any weapon group and just increase the speed on the fist items. The idea of a KungFu dryad or SW is very appealing but early on it is a struggle to make them feel even slightly effective. I might have to try out a test build on the KungFu Dryad and tweak the save to see how they play in niobium, after reading chattius' comments.
