  1. Okay guys I am starting a new project and need a little help or it will take FOREVER. I want to do a guide showing all the statues in the game... yah know the ones that give more experience. like a mentor potion or give a bonus to some elemental damage? I want to do them all not just the experience ones. But here is the thing... Ancaria is HUGE and having to clear the entire game and look in all sorts of out of the way places is just a huge task. So I am just doing the ones I know of or people tell me the location of and then if I missed any hopefully one day I will either come across them or once they are on the website I will get e-mails about missing ones. But for now I am just doing a post around various forums to ask everyone to help me out by just listing all the locations they know of or think they remember there being a statue and then I can check em out. So here are the ones I know so far (I think they are all correct): In the center of Faeries Crossing In the "undead cave" In the "experience cave" at the side of the road halfway between Mascarell and Faeries Crossing Inside the Monastery In the small clearing of the Monastery where the portal is Volcano Island where the portal room drops you across the river from the "Tree of Life" in Timberton the statue that is part of the "Desecration" side quest in Bravewall where "The Elven Lady of Tyr-Hadar" quest starts Shire's Pen in a clearing to the East of the clearing that you find the "Blackrobes" in in the woods just East of the Northeastern most house in Bravesbury East of the Hedgenton portal So... anyone know of any others?
  2. Darn I tried it and it didn't work for me.... I set it to full screen like you said and went to Ancarian Campaign to choose the character (since I want renders of the default armor/look of the characters) and clicked on each character in turn and did Ctrl+B... but the screenies had the background you see in game and showed all the characters with just the one I clicked highlighted
  3. Awesome! Thanks for the tip on how to do it!! I was wondering how to get a good render for a VERY long time!
  4. I did a quest list yesterday and a basic guideline about quests.... in case anyone missed it so no need to figure out a new one in another area I was trying to just copy the HTML from my website to make it easier but that didn't work so well and I ended up having to remove a lot of the formatting because the coding was appearing in the final work. So if anyone feels motivated and wants to clean it up a tad I have no objections... I am still figuring out this whole wiki thing and it doesn't seem to offer many tool presets. Yep I admit it I am lazy and I never learned to just write HTML straight out.... I use Frontpage to do the coding for me and although I understand most of it and can edit the HTML, remembering it all just to type it out manually is impossible hehe. On another note... anyone working on doing unique items.... you can't hotlink from mine but you are welcome to save any of the images you may need and re-host them yourselves for use on the Wiki. I wish I could let you hotlink them since that would solve your image hosting problem but unfortunately it is against my GameSpy user agreement
  5. Oh np at all.... wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong. Thanks for fixing it up for me
  6. Here is a really funny one of my friends char:
  7. Awww I am so sorry to hear that! That can be a huge pain... it is bad enough when your character dies because YOU take on too high level of an enemy or just too many of them... but when it is 100% not your fault it is just criminal!
  8. Hahaha yeah sorry I am already taken.... you could always kiss up to me instead and then I'll help you out WHENEVER you need roflol The projected game release date is in the first quarter of 2008, which means anytime between January and April, but you never know they may hit a snag and not release it till later than that. Gial perfected covered your main question though
  9. Wow thanks guys!! @ Genenut: Hey now I haven't even reached my 29th yet LOL this year was 26 Well this one's a depressing year.... first I was upset because of got a letter saying that this is the year I have to renew my driver's license... which means I get to pay a bundle to the Registry of Motor Vehicles today And.... to top it off I have a really crappy cold But anyway.... thanks a ton for all the birthday wishes and once I am feeling better I am soooo gonna celebrate it hehe
  10. Great guide!! I have a small suggestion for an addition to it though..... I personally have gotten more icons from opening chests and barrels then from quest rewards or drops. The rest of what you said still applies of course... you need to do it at a low level in the Bellevue and Silver Creek areas and all the rest that you said. But for a few examples I have gotten an icon maybe four different times from the chest next to the Wolf Eyes wolf and I got one just the other day from the chest next to the farmer's house that gives you the Forest Ranger quest.
  11. Wow amazing! When are you going to do your next one? I am waiting with bated breath here so see more of your work! I am soo hugely impressed! Ever think of doing a female version or some other female warrior?
  12. Hahaha well it took me 4 days to convert all the pages into the new format.... that was 3 or 4 hours a day. But the re-uploading of the website took soooo long that I was up to 4AM the night I did it hahaha. Also last night I got a ton of really great new Sacred 2 character pics and was up very late re-doing all those pages and adding in the High Elf info. that was maybe till 3AM. Oh and the Dungeon Map I did for a few hours a day for over a week hahahaha. So I didn't actually loose that much sleep cause this time I let myself take my time at the projects.... unlike most of my previous projects which I would work 10 hrs straight on to just get them done ASAP. ROFLOL! I'm learning
  13. Check it out! There is a whole new look to the website and among other things I have added a huge Dungeon Map to the Misc. section! For a full list of recent updates check out the Wolfe's Lair homepage!
  14. Thats an awesome one Ari!! Great job!
  15. Wow let's see..... Battle Mage- A very high level Ghost Meadow and mostly Ice Shards but when I have a large mob I also cast a Fire Spiral for bonus damage as I Shard them. Dark Elf- Poison Mist with Adrenaline and Testosterone boosts. Vampiress- Always fight in Vamp form and usually only use Hard Hit or Multi-hit although in some occasions is fun to have a high level Wolf. Wood Elf- I haven't mastered a good build with this one yet but some of my favorites are CoTA, Multi-shot, Penetrating Arrow and Explosive Arrow. The only other runes I ever read are the Phase Shift or jump CAs just for shortcuts and I only read one or two runes of that type. I also read a bunch of Cataract of Agility on the BM and Quick as a Flash on WE so I can run fast to locations that are far away.
  16. Wow sweet!! But how high is your explosive charge:) That was craziness!
  17. Ohmigod!! I am blown away! Amazing! Coloring seems to be where most people have problems but you have done a BEAUTIFUL job!! Ever think about taking requests?
  18. Yay!! I won two spots! Thanks judges and everyone else! @ erialc thank you sooooo much.... I loooove doing stuff in photoshop. In fact I like it so much I do sigs, avatars, web/forum graphics and myspace layouts for all my friends hehe.
  19. Wow that is amazing! I don't have a real thing for warrior type pics and I LOOOOOVE yours!! Keep it up I can't wait to see more!
  20. Hi my suggestion would be to check out THIS FAQ and if it doesn't help there is also the e-mail address to contact Ascaron in it anyway Good luck!
  21. I'm with the rest in EST Winter GMT - 5 Summer (DST) GMT - 4
  22. Aaaahhhhhh a lawyer! Everyone run away! LOL Hey wait..... if I'm a hero does that mean I get free legal advice? j/k hehe. And one more thing.... I'm not sure if I should be complimented by the fact that I'm a hero or insulted that I am on the same list as Homer Simpson! ROFLOL Anyway........ you get the gate glyphs as part of the underworld main quest... they don't go into your inventory but they do show up in your Quest Item log. It is easy to tell if you have what you need though... if you are following the main quest line then you will automatically be sent to the Valley as soon as you have all the glyphs that are needed to get there. It is really something you won't be able to miss... you'll be sent to Shaddar's tower in Hell's Ridge and once you defeat the demon in his tower Shaddar's ghost will appear again and tell you to make your way to the Valley of Tears. But you only have to do it this way if you are playing Single Player... Oh and there is no risk of NOT picking up the glyphs because if you DON'T pick them up it the game won't let you continue on with the next main quest as you work your way through the campaign... If you want a more detailed layout of what needs to be done though just follow the Underworld Main quest tutorials at my site... I hope that explained it well enough to you... if not just let me know and I will try to give you a more complete answer or clarify whatever you didn't get
  23. Hey Joe! You are SUCH a sweetheart Alrighty to answer the first one.... there are THREE ways to get into the Valley of Tears depending on whether you are playing SP or MP... and I forget which you play so I will tell you all three: 1. You can enter using the portal obviously (this would be for future visits of course ) 2. If you are playing MP then go downstairs into the portal room on the Haven Isle and take the very last portal on the left bottom. 3. If you are playing SP then part of the main quest requires you to go to the Valley of Tears but you must collection on the Dimensional Gate Glyphs, go all the way through Hell's Ridge, insert the Glyphs into stands into a cave at the end of Hell's Ridge, THEN when you exit the rear of the cave you will be in the VOT. If you need me to elaborate at all just let me know Okay as for question two.... that cave is part of the main quest line and you need to get a haduk villager to escort you to the cave and unlock the door to the "mines".... however there IS a backdoor to this cave which is directly North of that entrance. Just backtrack East a bit and go around the corner of the mountains and head west to find that entrance. HERE is a tutorial for the beginning of the above main quest... but on that page is a screenshot showing you the two entrances
