  1. Difficult to say, since it also seems to affect the rock formations. I prefer the look of the rocks in the first pic. But I like the brown tone to the path in the second. Maybe try somewhere in between here? Or give it a darker brown hue?
  2. Feel free to post anything you run into, it will simply make for a better end result. Keep us and yourself up to date by checking out the dedicated thread here on the forum: Sacred 2 Purist Fixpack
  3. I would love a Sacred 2: Fallen Fries makeover
  4. @gogoblender Yes Warrior Nun just a little linkely dokely to Netfix Be warned it's all a bit weird My Netflix black holes usually lead me to watching documentaries on serial killers or drug lords...
  5. Good to hear BardicAnne! Just keep in mind, at some point when you are in a position to do so, I would *highly* recommend getting a Steam or GoG account and acquire a digital copy for enjoying Sacred on pc (with a personal preference for GoG because you can actually download the installation files and save them on a USB drive, so you never need to download the game again). I had so much trouble with the physical copies I would only go there if no other path would be available to me. (If it interests you: I had to update the firmware of my dvd drive of all things to install the game when it came out...)
  6. And maybe of note, microtransactions (in some form or another) have been confirmed again for D4 with a new job listing: Link to the GameSpot article
  7. All hail Dimitrius All hail Dimitrius All hail Dimitrius All hail Dimitrius All hail Dimitrius
  8. Yes. Sacred 3 was just a terrible experience indeed. Welcome aboard!
  9. Here's some info about the whole pay2win system in Diablo Immortal: Forbes writes: Oh Yes, ‘Diablo Immortal’ Is Absolutely Pay-To-Win, Eventually Just wanted to chime in on the we're all adults but not everyone playing is an adult... With the way the laws are set up, Blizzard would actually have to put an 18+ label on the game and operate under a gambling license *if* what I think the problematic mechanics could be. Basically you're not allowed to have minors gambling on something representing actual currency and there would be some necessary form of identification. Mainly, the problem here (in the Netherlands) would be the ability to monetize your lootbox items. In CS:GO for instance, I can buy the skins themselves on the marketplace if I want to, but I cannot use cases and keys. However this quote from the Dutch website Tweakers.net suggests that the actual economic value that these lootboxes represent should not be the issue: But in short, yeah, games with lootboxes are seen as a big issue here. And I don't mind some kind of cosmetic microtransaction system. But pay2win, naaaaaahhhhh...
  10. Well I won’t be able to play without some fandangling, since Belgium and the Netherlands have been cracking down on gambling in games (like lootboxes mainly) Blizzard has decided to just not release the game to our markets at all. I mean, they could’ve just taken that stuff out… I will need to mess around with VPN’s to get the game and run the risk of my account getting banned.
  11. You guys eat so much healthier than me. I don't hate veggies or anything, and we've drastically limited our meat consumption compared to 5-10 years ago. But being Dutch, I've grown up accustomed to the typical Dutch breakfast/lunch which is 2 slices of bread (with any kind of topping). I vary my breakfast these days and may opt for be oatmeal or yoghurt with muesli, but generally my lunch always consists of bread. Easy to bring to work, quick to make in a pinch. But we ran out of bread after this weekend. My solution? I ordered two small pizza's for dinner on Monday instead of one so I could eat the other one split between breakfast and lunch the next day. Let's just say I enjoy pizza. Oh and please don't tell the missus.
  12. It's a theme bug by the way. It doesn't happen when I switch to the default theme. @gogoblender
  13. Bikepaths are everywhere. On busier roads there's a dedicated cycling path next to it, seperated from the road itself, and on most other roads it's fairly common to have either painted bike paths where cyclists share the road with cars or have separate cycling lanes as well. We actually have a separate bike path on either side of the road right in front of our house. Funfact, the quirky round bridge you see at 1:50 and 1:56 in the first video is actually a bridge for cyclists. Here you can see it on Google Maps: https://www.google.nl/maps/place/Hovenring/@51.4333624,5.4190621,207m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m12!1m6!3m5!1s0x47c6dbd2eaad7169:0x3ec6043f35b5a538!2sHovenring!8m2!3d51.4333617!4d5.4193011!3m4!1s0x47c6dbd2eaad7169:0x3ec6043f35b5a538!8m2!3d51.4333617!4d5.4193011 If you zoom in, the pink/orangey lanes are the designated cycling lanes. They really are everywhere, just scroll around
  14. Congrats on the move Theuns Currently we're living in Eindhoven again, the city I grew up in. Our house is at the northern outskirts of the city, but here's a little impression of the city center and the main things Eindhoven is known for: The amusement park (Park Hilaria) is not a year-round event by the way. They shut down the main street of the city for it, and it takes place during the summer holiday. And one of the things that's missing is GLOW. A really cool yearly light art event. Here's an impression of one of the locations:
  15. The games do that to you welcome Bladesinger!
  16. Hey I've seen that name before welcome back!
  17. Hey mirrordude1337, welcome aboard! Have you found what you're looking for yet? If not, our modding section might have just the thing you're looking for: Sacred 2 Downloads - Failed Quests Red Circle Remover Mod Please note that as the author of the mod states, it is currently untested, but go give it a shot!
  18. Hah over 2 months have passed and everything's still a work in progress is what it feels like. We keep working on the house, but there's just such a looong list of chores we want to finish up before it feels 'done'. And big ones as well, like redoing the garden front and back. Money just seems to fly out of our accounts lately with little things... On the plus side, the racing setup is coming along nicely. It's been put together, now it just needs a coat of paint. Probably going to slap some primer on that thing tomorrow morning, so I can have the whole thing ready for my day off!
  19. We're triple boostered up, but the wife managed to finally catch covid after all. She's not as terrible as others I've heard of, but she said it's hitting her harder than she was expecting. My self tests keep on showing negative though, and I've not got any symptoms. So there's that
  20. What terrible news Spock. Is there any good side to that news, or is it just basically everything you didn't want to hear? Stay strong, and please do keep checking in on us from time to time.
  21. I'll be patiently waiting I wonder if there's an old e-mailadress connected to my wiki-account...
  22. Interesting, I have not received any mail from the wiki yet, however the wiki does acknowledge a reset request has been sent out for my account in the past 24 hours if I try to reset manually... But! The same error message shows up when I try a different e-mail adress. Are you sure they are the same between the two platforms @gogoblender?
  23. @gogoblender my good sir, have there been any progress on my wiki account? I was browsing Twitch around the weekend and saw some guys playing the original Sacred for nostalgia reasons, I wanted to help the guy with a few things but noticed a lot was missing on the wiki. Aside from getting the itch to fire up good ol'reliable to spend some time there, I also want to expand the wiki on the original game. So I tried to log in again today, but I am still running into the same issue.
