  1. Whow this old beast of a character... With CM patch: two nlovae and special sigil set will rsulit in a way bigger radius to bundle enemies. Never played the character with new sigils, but woul be something to consider. Cpuld perhaps workwithout staff lore.
  2. Wonder what you would make with Reneklodes, reineclaude, greengages or however they are called at your place: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greengage We have 3 different types and the early variant is ripe now. My normal sorbet is like: 800g greengages inner part of 2 vanilla sticks 200ml sparkling wine 200g sugar 2 scales from citrons filed I use sparkling wine a lot for sorbets. We allways buy it for parties and none of use drinks it normally. So older bottles are used for cooking.
  3. Whow. I can't really remember the mess we had with a burn. I was 5 years. My dad was forced to move for installing generators at new powerplants which would have lasted 1 year. His company gave a temporary 3 weeks appartment till he would have found something he liked because he wanted us with him. All our stuff was stored at a mover company till we would move to the final appartment. And then there was a fire at the mover storage area. There are only 3 photos when I was below 5 years which the grandparents had a copy. All photos from my mother as a girl were lost totally, ... Hope you could save most of your memories. If the fire started below your apparment, depending on your local law there may be a chance to have some stuff professional restored. Not if it is cheaper to buy new, but stuff which has a historical value to your family. Like a photo which got wet from firefighting water. Other states you can put the costs for restoring on a list and have the tax you pay lowered for up to 3 years.
  4. Something like this will be probably my next in september. It has the haswell already. http://www.notebookcheck.net/Schenker-XMG-A523.94290.0.html Not quite cheap, but it is well below the 2000 euro limit my company allowed me. Included is a 48 month warranty with a 48hour pickup and repair guatantee. It is used for job, so I need this. just Windows on it, I am not a fan of too much bundled software preinstalled which I never use anyway. Will add QNX as another OS on it. For maths I like the haswells turbo-boost of a single cpu. Sometimes you can't distribute calculations on several cores and a single fast is better. The graphic card is highend but older. So there is math software for it already. Will order it with abigger than normal SSD and a very effective cooling. Maths are eating Watts and I want both operating systems on the SSD. Nice display, I have to do some paralell Fortran coding on it. If I would buy a private laptop/dexktop I would make sure that my image/video processing software uses the graphic card, its so much more performance.
  5. I am happy with my Schenker. Even the reasons for it were maximum math power for work, image processing,... But you know: game graphics are just maths too. It is nice if the graphic card can solve maths faster than the CPU
  6. If I am not wrong the silver modifier for demonic blow in sacred wiki is wrong. I think it should be 4+1 per level poison base damage instead 4% +1% per level poison damage.
  7. Level 42 Finished silver campain. I took the whole pandemonium set just because it has the most barbaric look. Items pieces were from 15-45 so not even really optimized. I even had some damage 3-3 rings socketed when I could have replaced them with 7-7. The hit chance at the guardians was at 73%, 150% when I had alll minibuffs up. When I started I thought that I would just level to reach gold difficulty. But doing the campaign I saved 18 levels. Now I wonder if the damage grows quickly enough with the stronger beasts with more hitpoints. My Inspiration for a shield only character: http://de.wikisource.org/wiki/Fechtbuch_%28Talhoffer%29/Kapitel_6 example from above:
  8. Yes, I was visiting Scorpions with an orchestra at another concert. It was kinda funny: The people normally visiting orchestras were silent and seemed to be a bit annoyed by the rock fans who waved arms even at the orchestra start with no band. At the end all were standing and singing. Many people I met in scandinavia think Scorpions did only 'Rock you like a hurricane' which seems to be played while ice hockey. When I asked what is ice hockey, they were confused. Hell are there really people playing hockey on ice and not on a nice green gras field?
  9. Is it just to small? You can scale it. The UI is written in xml and can be modified a bit: healthbars,...
  10. There are only a few songs giving me goosebumps. Our third will perform this song with the school orchestra. She is too young to allways connect this song with german reunion, or when itt was played in front of 300000 people in moscow at invitation of Gorbatschov.
  11. I may finish the silver campaign with this character this night while I have to sit at telephon because of readiness. I think the character will be around level 43 when doing it. Anyone interested in a screen shot of equipment (german) or a savefile? I was putting every stat point into vitality. I remember from the dryads that 5 strength is just one damage point. Better placed in vitality I think. Deathblow is around 50%. Demonic blow has 7s reg time. With temporary buffs up I can spam it with my reg per hit equipment. If enemy is critical hit and I deathblow range: damage can be around 2000. Not too bad for an unarmed character at level 38. I took damage lore. I don't know if it is of any use, but it is the only skill which may add more damage to this build.
  12. Wonder if dogs are different, I was told to place it below tongue. But that is either too difficulty considering the size of a finger compared to a cats mouth, or too dangerous if the cat is lion sized.
  13. We have a lot of animals but no cows. We live near mountain top. The juicy gras is down at valley. If the valley gets flooded the farmer there asks us if he can bring his caddle uphill. He could bring it to his own land but that would need the crossing of 3 secondary roads with 15000 cars a day. He didn't know that the cow would have 3 calves and the stress of moving was probably the reason why it happened at our place. 14. They start with something like this programming language for kids called squeak. The computers will stay at school as far as I know. There is a central server room and the room for the first class has just keyboards, monitor and pointing device attached via radio and/or cable. Our twins are both left handed just like me.
  15. Your baby plan: Our oldest is 18, when she was 3 and a half years and started to visit a fullday kindergarten the house was empty, working on kid number 2 started. When daughter number 2 was 3 and a half years and started to visit a fullday kindergarten the house was empty, working on kid number 3 started. When daughter number 3 was 3 and a half years and started to visit a fullday kindergarten the house was empty, working on kid number 4 started. Mixed twins happened next Good luck with your baby plans.
  16. Ah broken tooth, so not just loosing it because of age. That's surely something for a vet. My wife says Buprenorphine is used at small animals because there is not much risc in overdosing it. No stopping to breath or such. The animal will just be too much tired or sleeps a day. If this happens just reduce the dosis. Buprenorphine is used to help people to stop an addiction to heroin. She wondered why I asked for it. Buprenovet is the thing for animals a least here in germany.
  17. We luckily avoided the alltime record for heat, but 37.4 Celcius was close enough. Weather is nice with lots of rain. The rain is really needed and it is a slow and steady rain at night, so I call this a nice weather. The plants of the early potatos are dying and I looked for some tasty fresh potato. Most had the size of beans because of very few rain this year and o never wated them. It is like 1 citron size to 10 bean size. So I wondered what we will do with all these small ones. Unpeeled, roasted with rosmarin and some trouts from the lake? Our oldest likes fishing and it would allow some talking before she leaves for her year at france next tuesday.
  18. We had some river flooding weeks ago. A local farmer brought his cows uphill to our place. One cow gave birth to 3 calves and our daughter was kinda made their godmother snd could choose the names. Yesterday she was helping the farmer to bring the herde of cows on the other side of a secondary road. And she did it while riding a zebra. She saw pictures and videos that zebras are less annoyed by horseflies because of the stripes. So she used medical clay to camouflage our black friesian horse inspired from this picture: http://www.cavallo.de/sixcms/media.php/6/thumbnails/700_SimoneSteiner.JPG.3519318.JPG We had way more mosquitos and insects than normal because of the flooding so my wife helped her to do the camouflage. Is this just a german thing, or are there suddenly more zebras in the world?
  19. I wonder if Buprenovet what we gave our dog is the same. But it had to be applied below the tongue, which was probably easier in our case: St Bernhard/longhair german shepherd mix. I could nearly put my head in its fang to see where it has to be placed. It was a long discussion if the dog should be put to eternal sleep, right lower foreleg amputated or trying to put a bone replacement in. Luckily we had an animal health insurance and the person who had caused the accident had to pay the difference. So with a pain killer 50times stronger than morphium, it is an infection?
  20. Added a TV. Or do I have to say: a multifunctional display for navigation, rear camera for parking, playing DVDs, ... 120 Euro.
  21. We had some discussion yesterday. The problem was: The twins are 5 and a half now. School will start for them after summer and the school wrote that they will use computers right away from first week. So which device should be used: mouse: fast switching between keyboard and pointing device, hand moves are not as fine as finger moves touchball: what I use. fast switching between keyboard and pointing device, finer control than mouse, but are there any touchballs in a size for 6 year olds graphic tablet: slow switching between keyboard and pointing device, but intuitiv for young ones, best fine motoric ring mouse: none in kids size ... I would say graphic tablet ?
  22. Congratulations I remember your older posts and the problems you had-
  23. Ah yes the old copy proitection is considered a virus if you have heuristic virus scan activated.
