I´d like to ask if someone is interested in creating some kind of backup characters, loaded with found, or bought gear for young heros. An extra trader-character wouldn´t be necessary anymore, reaching a certain level is enough. Swapping items is easy with Sacred Reborn, or Thoriums patch What do you think?

Thanks again for the kind words, best wishes and good advises. We have informed the health insurance now, there´s a lot of paperwork coming in. Everything is organized as well as we could, things calm down a bit and daily routine takes over. Currently, it´s the calm before the storm, we´ll see how it goes after the rehab is over. Distraction is needed badly, otherwise you start running in circles, like a mad dog in a cage. That´s why I´ll be here now and then and will step on your feet. Hello I just want to chime in. My father suffered a "transient ischemic attack" which is some kind of temporary stroke. A blood vessel is blocked for a certain amount of time, before the blood flow returns to normal. The symptoms are mostly reversible, a rehab is necessary though. The speach is heavily affected, it sounds like talking to a drunk. The doctors said it will take a while until things are getting better. Something between weeks and months. No one can tell exactly. Lucky, lucky, lucky! However. I won´t leave entirely, but the time I have left for modding is greatly reduced. @ gogoblender Thank you for your kind words.

Hello and goodbye A familiy member suffered a stroke during this night and no one noticed it until breakfast. Paramedics roamed our house, a doc flew in and the whole family is in an uproar. According to the team leader, the chances to return to normal are tiny, because there´s some kind of time limit, which is surpassed most likely. After that, the inflicted damage is more or less permanent. We will head now to the hospital aswell and wait for the diagnosis. I´m sorry to inform you, that I have no time for this anymore and all my projects are discontinued for a long time, I assume. Thank you everyone, keep Darkmatters going, be well.

Speaking of the downfall of a game studio, does someone remember Icewind Dale 2? There´s an interview with Mister Urquhart where he describes how the little rubber boat, aka Black Isle, struggled to prevent the Titanic (Interplay) from sinking, but got finally sucked into the slowly rotating whirlpool, following its parent company. In a desperate fight, they stitched Icewind Dale 2 together in a single year. A little later, the plug was pulled and both companies de facto ceased to exist. Sad.

Hello fellow players! Is someone interested in creating a "warehouse" for all character classes, ranging from level 30-130 maybe? The player can literary "feed" on the stored items if he wants to, transfering them to his toon at will. Trading would become obsolete and would not stand in your way anymore. Uniques, or Sets are of course welcome too and the best thing is, that everyone can participate. Sounds good?

Hello Kenzor I guess we´re stuck here more or less. Or have to wait for Ruddick to get the job done on his own. 3ds max is a quite expensive software. A licence for a single year costs roughly 2000 Euros. Plugins range from 200 to 5000 Euros. And there are many, many of them. I don´t think that extra plugins are necessary, though. I hope that the plugin, Ruddick has used to open the models, is compatible with free software too. Until the matter is solved, I´ll link some extractors for you if you´re interested. chattius, I must confess I don´t like the idea that you skipped school just to visit the next, nearby brewery! (; Jokes aside, I personally prefer Karlsberg. Bitter in taste and only enjoyable if it´s icy cold. During my time in the army we gave it to the locals. It just took two bottles to make them drunk. In exchange we got a lot of homemade ham and sausages. A good deal for both sides!

Is your question about Thorium´s patch solved so far? SRB is balanced well, but the more changes you make, the more you have to consider. If you pull on a single thread, the entire carpet moves. Especially Combat Arts and Spells are difficult to balance. The chance that you overpower them is high, because everyone of us has his own pet-character. A deep insight is needed, hours of playtime, followed by hours and hours of playtesting. However. I suggest to continue the discussion somewhere where MetaL, or Starling can see it. They will surely answer your questions.

To be honest, I started working to support others a bit, because I believe it is easier to mod, when you see that there are others, that are working their *ss off too. Is boosts your own morale and motivation if new content sees daylight and luckily, there´s no infighting here at Darkmatters. After two more modders showed up within days, VilyaTheWhite and Ruddick, and shared their creations and knowledge, I´m full of hope that we all will continue working on Sacred and keep it vital and healthy for the next years. I´m happy that you will introduce Ysendra´s work and mine to the russian community, I try hard to get the enhanced GUI done until Christmas. Combat Arts and spells keep me busy currently.
