  1. Good news! Moldavia joined the club too! Be welcome RuDDicK! Did you made the models?
  2. Just gave them a quick try and I have to say that the new skins are very cool! Despite I abandoned the WE, because she is so overpowered, I shall return and give her a second chance. But I can´t decide. Shall I pick Dark Elf Sorceress, or Dryad Fury? Decisions, decisions. Good work, Vilya! Keep it up!
  3. Starling, are GOG and Steam aware of your mod? Introducing Reborn to both forums might lead to the influx of new players.
  4. Don´t forget to add some screenshots of your work. They will push the download counts a bit. (;
  5. Hello Flix I abandoned the unmodified Sacred quickly after I tried Reborn. Got roughed up now and then especially during the very early versions of the mod. Poisoned Tendrils killed more than one time. I try every version as soon as it sees daylight and I was never disappointed. Overlookers are doing a great job! You´ll find dozens and dozens of vids concerning Sacred. Adding some more will have no effect I guess, but a while ago I mixed ambients together and hoped to get them into the game one day. If enough screenies are available, we could turn them into a slideshow, while the ambients are getting played in the background. Currently, I´m hoping for more players to show up, then I´ll ask for help.
  6. Excellent selection of screenshots, Flix! I remember so many locations when I look at your screenies. Especially when I ran unprepared into two Stygian Elders and how they made me suffer. What do you think of the idea to turn your screenshots into a couple of youtube videos?
  7. Let´s give chattius a medal! D*mn and I thought lomion is gone forever! Well, Robi. Here you go. You won´t find better inspirations across the entire internet.
  8. You´ll need an unzipper to gain access to Sacred´s *.pak files. Depending on the file you want to decompress, it might take a while. Watch a soccer match, walk the dog, or give your wife´s feet a massage (we all know it pays). Here are the links: Texture Extractor: (Use this one to change the portrait) https://www.mediafire.com/file/h43bcppuu7t46yr/sacred_tex_extractor.zip/file Model Extractor: https://www.mediafire.com/file/8fctaiadtx2avv8/sacmodextr.zip/file Granny Viewer: https://www.mediafire.com/file/e0in75qafonpnr2/grn2gr2_conv.zip/file Yesendra did the Demon & Seraphim reskins but won´t be here for a while. I hope to see her again in January. If I remember correctly, the Philippines are currently getting battered by a Typhoon. I hope no one gets hurt! I´ve added some backgrounds to Ysendras Dark GUI and currently I´m on it to fresh up Combat Arts and spells. I´d like to take a look at bridles and horses after that. After both projects are finished, sounds are next on the list. That´s an enormous project, though.
  9. Hello and welcome, Robi! I don´t know in which direction your novel goes, but I´d suggest to dig through the D&D 2nd edition rulebooks. The artwork is mainly done by Baxa, who did a splendid job and all monsters are very well described so that you get into the setting quickly. Monsters from the Dark Sun setting are using psionic powers, if that helps. Lomion.de can´t be accessed anymore from my homeland due to some new european internet law, maybe you can still reach it from the US. Found this after a quick seach, maybe it comes in handy: https://orkerhulen.dk/DnD%205th/TSR%202140B%20Monstrous%20Manual.pdf Years ago I´ve found other D&D rulebooks online, I´ll see if I can dig out the link again.
  10. Hello and welcome, Vilya! It´s good to see you! Looks good! I can dig out the fitting portrait quickly, if you´re interested. It´s a piece of cake. Please share your other creations too and don´t forget to create an extra thread for them. I nearly overlooked your upload. Good old Sacred gets a lot of lovin´ currently! PS: Did you took a look at Ysendras reskins already? I think if you two would work together, many more skins will see daylight.
  11. I´m not complaining. But I did years ago, when I worked my !ss off for a certain project and was very angry back then, because I had the intention that I wasted tons of freetime for nothing. Our download counts were not bad, but no one said a word. Nowadays I shrug in the best case. But I don´t want that other makers encounter the same situation which can be, as I mentioned before, very frustrating. That´s why I always try to find some encouraging words, or give a thumbs up. Being non-responsive, apathetic, as a community, does not have an immediate impact on the modder. It´s a poison that works its way slowly through the body. Ok. Numbers are dwindling, both games are quite old already, no mods were released since years. Currently, many people aren´t simply aware of the new stuff. There are still some forums across the internet where maybe a dozen survivors hangs around frequently, Steam and GOG have well frequented forums too, concerning S1 and Sacred 2. As soon as more stuff is up I want to notify others and we´ll see how it goes.
  12. ...and exhale forcefully, chattius. Your lungs might get ripped to pieces otherwise. Please wear ear protectors too, if you carry away jammed ammunition, or other explosives. Just in case that the 240 mm shell goes up right infront of your nose. (;
  13. Dear gamers and members! Would you do me a favor please and give feedback after you tried a mod? It does not matter if the feedback is good or bad, even long, insulting tirades are welcome, as long as feedback is given at all. I know it became a bit obsolete over the years to write long and boring to read reviews, but I can tell you it is very demotivating and frustrating for a modder, if people do not care. Download counts do not matter, but a responding community does. Long story short: Guys, please give feedback. It´s really important. Thx for your time!
  14. Many users here remain quiet unfortunately. Ok, both games are very old, all secrets are known, all dungeons have been explored and all Dragons have been slain over and over again. What´s new then? Well, the opportunity to create the universe that surrounds S1 and Sacred 2. It sounds a bit odd, but simply everyone can participate,and chime in if he wants to. And there´s a lot of work to do. Imagine demon gods and their portfolio, the battlefields where the forces of good and evil clash and how would the inhabitants of such a plane look like? The fight for the control over Ancaria, or the T-Energy, intrigues, broken promises, betrayal and strange alliances. If the project is continued over a certain time, which means quite a while, more users will join. At least I hope so. What I can say is: If a thread remains active, it attracts attention. PS: Fluent english speakers are welcome, which means I´m out. (: By the way: The user Thorium is creating some kind of new Sacred from scratch. It looks promising: http://darkmatters.org/forums/index.php?/topic/23325-we-have-started-a-new-big-game-project-lifeleech/
  15. I read the original Moby Dick. Well, it´s quite difficult to read and sometimes tirering and a bit boring, but the story turns into a roaring inferno during last 60 pages. Yes, it was worth the effort!
  16. Kind, positive, encouraging words, Hooyaah! Well done, sir!
  17. Hello and welcome, Cosmin0110! Good to have you here! Yes, I wondered too why the makers didn´t add some kind of "universe" to the gameworld. Some big opportunities were missed. That was stupid. I remember how I was after the audio logs in System Shock 2 or Deus Ex. The additional background stories added so much flavor to the game, gave so much depth. It was incredible. But I think it is not over yet. Ascaron is history, but the community is still here, despite all these years. Maybe we should continue the story. Carving our own ways. The possibilities are endless. Let´s discuss the matter in the forum, yes?
  18. SheHawk, I think you could do some minor wonders with the Neverwinter Nights Toolset. You can even fool around with ambient lights. There´s a lot of potential. Just in case that you grow tired of sketchup´s limited capabilities. I will try to find some images. Give me a minute. Here you go:
  19. Wa..? Nina Hagen:) chattius, I always liked you, but now you´re going in hard! Does someone know Jesper Kyd? He´s the guy who composed the soundtracks for the "Hitman" games. A talented man. Both playlists are worth a look:
  20. How strange, your post doesn´t show up in the list as latest post, Hooyaah. Ah, well. Here. I got some tracks with lots of positive energy for you: Joan Jett: "Bad Reputation" Florence and the Machine: "Cosmic Love" Iron & Wine: "Boy with a coin" Emiliana Torrini
  21. Wow, nice secret! Well, looks like we got a newcomer on the list! Thanks for sharing, MetaL!
  22. chattius you must have picked a cozy place to live! The trailer would be empty within minutes in the area I live. However, your local farmers are obviously clever enough not to put their self-brewed booze on the trailer (:
  23. @Hooyaah Hehe. The makers of Smite "To Hell and Back" watched "Kick-Ass" obviously. Both vids are quite similiar. But I prefer calmer themes. Cat Power "I found a reason"
