  1. If you use pelting strikes with the seraphim on her tiger the tigers has a few slashes with his claws I think as well as the seras swinging with her weapon/s
  2. I have to say I enjoy the blow pipe dryad Slowly but steadily leveling mine up
  3. thats sounds like you are just dealing with some lag there, not a bug. I have to deal with that permanently, it can take the game ~5seconds to register picking up an item and the same to drop it...makes trading runes one hell of a task
  4. Not even an idea? With your knew punishment promotion you definitely need to have something up there. Just make something ludicrous up. Its great fun. I just cant wait to become a full member and to see my name get up on the roster. Btw, whats the probationary [D.a.r.k] member time period?
  5. Looks good to me. Cant wait to see it. "What you are about to see is confidential...dont tell my mum" - Gotta love it
  6. Did the armour you initially have on any regen penalty -x% mods? Cos if you swap it for something with no mods then the bonus disappears causing the inrease.
  7. The idea is that once youve killed them, you grab the dropped gear and then leave straight away. Then you reenter and they should appear
  8. Congratulations you two...Im sure everyone here wont try too hard to make your first few days as mod tough knuckles
  9. I can't answer anything to shadow warrier specific, but some basic regen stuff I can help with. First of all leveling up Combat Arts only increases the regen of that particular ca. Unless it's a buff most of which give a blanket penalty to all Combat Arts. In regards to duration > cookdown that's pretty useful however since some of the Combat Arts have cooldown and another regen before they can be used, that's not always possible. General rule? Well I suppose that's. More of a preference thing. I usually try to find a happy medium of damage and regen where it all works well. Experiment a bit if you're not sure tho. Go for a big hitting slow ca and then try spammamble ones. See what works best for ya. And as to high level characters, socketing alot of +all skills seems to be the go, at high levels this can be huge bonuses to everything giving huge regen bonuses meaning you eat runes instead of socketing so many. I realize I haven't answered everything but hope it helps some
  10. Well I tried to go by your suggestions and I think I succeded...maybe a little too well :
  11. Do we have to be full [D.a.r.k] members for this or can us candidates join in the fun too?
  12. Well, sinister preadtor is a buff, so it doesnt count as a weapon based CA, although how come youre asking this? As to the modifications, you just need certain total amounts of points spent in tactics lore and Capricious Hunter Focus to add the modification points. You will still be able to modify all of youre abilities if you spend enough skill points in these skills, it just takes longer to get the next mod point to spend each time you get a new one. Hope that helps
  13. Hes pretty good alright, I prefer his violining (?) to his singing, not thats its bad, the song just seems kinda corny to me...although eurovision seems to have alot of that. Great performance tho
  14. Yay...my first wiki contribution...even if its only a suggestion
  15. Best way...well, depends on what you like doing I guess. Finishing lots of quests can net you a set item or two. Killing minibosses is also a good way to get some random uniques (bright gold text) and a set or two. Otherwise there is good old normal fighting, just go and kill alot of monsters, some people have said that they think the faster you kill something I.e. the less hits you use, the better chance you have of finding rare gear. Overall, make sure you dont die so your survival bonus increases adding to you chance to find special items, and equipping items with + find special items helps as well
  16. Well, I haven't played a caster seraphim but basically, you can pick those points to suit you and how you're feeling about your build. Regen a problem, go for stamina, need more spell damage go with intelligence, health, vitality and so on. As you level up, at certain stages you get 2 then 3 points to spend so you're never really lacking but having some sort of plan such as 50:50 int:stam means that u get better damage and regen and u don't waste any points working things out mid-game. I don't know if this has really helped...seems a bit vague now that I read it, but basically work out a rough plan before hand and try not to mix up you're choices too much, spreading the points too thin is very ineffective compared to going focused on 1 or 2 major stats
  17. There isn't really a set level for either of them, it depends more on how strong you're build is and what you think it's capable of. The boar isn't soo tough, may hit u hard every now and again, but the gryphon has the ability to debuff you so you need to be careful of that, especially if you're buffs are your life. An easy one is the orc chieftain who you get as a result of a kobold murdering quest in the first town, if you can take him then u should be fine for at least the boar, remember to be careful in regards to the damage and armour types the bosses have, if you're not sure, have a look in the sacred wiki
  18. Increases attack, defense (chance to hit, chance to dodge) and run speed so indirectly it will increase you're damage as you will miss less with it
  19. the official forum is over here although you probably wont have much chance of changing stuff, good luck edit: wow...you really beat me to it...I must have gotten distracted between replying and reading the post initially
  20. You dont have to buy it...its just meant to be what vista was meant to be. Which in my opinion its ok, nothing ground breaking, a few nice things, but then ive only used it a little...mainly cos I cant be bothered re-installing stuff to get everything else running...if youre of a mind though, you can download the release candidate for free and try it for the next year and then buy a license if you like it when the release candidates expire or just revert to vista, your choice
  21. Ok, first, red mod's on items mean that you dont have the skill that they apply to, so +2 bargaining in red means you dont have it and therefore it wont benefit you unless you choose that skill. Second, You probably should pick a weapon skill, melee (definitely) or not although the only main benefit to casters is the fact that they unlock certain modifications that some items have...like a sword requiring sword lore before it gives chance for open wounds as an example. Third, by armour skills I assume u mean defensive skills and yes, take at least one with any character type, all of them do different things and if you want to know more about them then you can read here: Sacred 2 Skills Finally, an item with a bonus to an ability increases its current level but doesnt count as reading a rune, which means its a higher level ability with a lesser regen penalty than reading one gives. If you open your combat art screen in the pc version and hover over the ability then it tells you the details for the current ability level and the next so u can use that for info
