I can't. I used to have one that I got so my mother would be able to get in touch with me no matter where she was. Unfortunately when I went down to Florida to give her hers, she had a stroke and died shortly after. Mine is now collecting dust somewhere in my computer dungeon having not been used after the initial contract ran out.

I don't think I will be able to attend. I just installed my copy and only have a U.S. version of Sacred 2 with all the patches. I seem to be able to get in but thought I had read somewhere that you were going to have Ice and Blood players ... Perhaps someone will take a parting shot of my grave for old times sake.

I still remember my 3 months basic training under a Marine DI. I wouldn't want to live through that ever again but would never want to loose the memories either. I started out in 1965 as a US Navy Enlisted and made it all the way to E-6 before I got demoted to O-1 after 11 years and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science. I retired after 22 years as a Naval Flight Officer, one of the few people who can tell pilots where to go and get away with it. Good luck with the physical. I still remember the long line of us stripped down to nothing but our underwear when in waltzed a female Navy doctor to check us all for hernias! Talk about embarrassment!

Wrong! Torchlight is only single player and will sell for $19.99. Initially it will be via download only with a boxed version to become available early 2010. They will be using the income from the SP Torchlight to help fund the MMO coming out sometime in 2011.

If I was still teaching I wouldn't be doing this because I'm rather careful about my students privacy but, since I've been out of the teaching business since the end of June, here it is ... PCTalk.info I started it the end of 2002 when I started teaching. It was a safe place my students could visit on the Internet that would help them to learn a little about what the World Wide Web was all about. It has different pages they could explore and even a forum where probably 50% was hidden to the public so they wouldn't feel self-conscious about posting. I added a FATE Mod Archive when it became apparent that the ones available were going to disappear as no one was taking care of them any more and their hosting was about to run out. I did it at someone elses suggestion with the idea that a whole crew of us would develop it ... I'm the only one trying to finish it now. I started a Sacred 2 Fansite just to see if I could create something like that and later added Pevil's site to it when she lost her hosting. Lately I've been helping NightWolfe to get her site set up on my host as she also was loosing her host and her site was too good to allow to disappear. Just tonight I decided to start creating a Torchlight site. Torchlight is a new game coming out created by the same crew who made Mythos but lost the rights to it when the company they were working for went under. Does anyone see any kind of trend here?

Nicely done video. Too bad the in-game horses can't be used as cavalry is supposed to be ... high speed slash and run. No self-respecting Cavalry Officer would allow his unit to stand and fight, they would be decimated. I would like to see a video of a large group doing a fast cavalry charge against a mob ...

They will be running a progressive Beta and have said the SP version (Torchlight) will be free, just like Mythos. When Torchlight is finished I remember reading somewhere that they are thinking about doing a "different" game that will be MP.

I really enjoyed playing Far Cry. Wish I could find my original disk and ID code. My wife bought a copy of Far Cry 2 for me from a "bargain Bin" for about $20 USD and I was happy ... This morning for some reason, I decided to read some of the PDF manual that is included with the game. It appears that there is a company called Massive Incorporated that is in charge of in-game ad placement. But they don't just place the ads before the game ships ... Their Disclosure statement from the PDF: The link supposedly works from inside the manual but has a small problem. someone very carefully insured that the closing period became a part of the link. Now, a very interesting read from the companies privacy statement located at the above URL: Why am I not surprised?
