I must say just before the UK release I totally lost my enthusiasm for Sacred 2, the SecuROM thing disappointed me, and several other factors (including stuff like this) put me off even more. (Plus my internet connection is no where near capable of handling Sacred 2) Consequently I haven't as yet got hold of Sacred 2, and the nearest I can foresee getting it is around christmas time, but only if we have a connection able to handle it by then ~Doom

Rest easy, its only a spinoff and Thank the gods ~Doom

Oh I joined UNI 40 on Friday, just passed 7700th Rank. Seems fairly easy at the moment, I've overtaken all the other newbies who probed me with ease, and am now just building up points through mining and research, at some point I'll build up a fleet and go raid some people though ~Doom

Well antivirus isn't actually installed yet, I'm waiting for AVG to give me back my activation code (why can't I use it more than once! >_> ) But you are close to my suspicion, Halo is optimized as well, but for fast dialup, however the custom maps ARE NOT, and I only crash on them ~Doom Oh and call of duty just wouldn't work on dial up

Well as to did I have it before my computer upgraded, no, but I wasn't playing any shooters online at that point. Yarasa, this problem has survived 14 or so reinstalls of windows, which has included various progressively newer graphics drivers... No yellow warning icons, my Ethernet driver is part of my nForce 4 drivers, that's up to date, like the graphics card. Specs: AMD Athlon 6400+ 3.2Ghz Gainward Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT 512 MB RAM 4 GB RAM (I guess the rest doesn't matter) ~Doom Oh possibly relevant, I only experienced it on halo on custom maps with much much higher data levels in and also only when they were mostly full, and COD 4 I was playing with 54 players... Oh and also, if it was my video card or drivers, or other hardware, surely I'd experience it playing other games, and also the single player of COD 4 and Halo, but I can play them for hours but then online the problem can hit anywhere between 10 minutes and 1 hour after starting
