I fully intend to take a least 1 day off when Sacred 3 comes out. I was not going to say anything because, even here, I thought that might a little over the top.

Sounds like a plan, count me in. :P Though I'm not entirely sure where I am when that miracle happens.

Haha gotta love this forum! :) I cant get off Sacred I played it untill 4am last night and played it in the morning before work ended up being late, but still my manager is cool, she can be moody but still, you gotta do what ya gotta do :P Note : If you take a day off from work to play Sacred 2 and your boss complains, buy them a copy of the game and I guarantee they will close down work for ETLEAST a week! :P they'll be asking you for all sorts of help haha!...

thats how my dream would go anyway.. >__>;

yup 'em work from home days, sometimes turns out to be a good Sacred session! But since I'm contracting for an American company my real work day only starts when my family gets ready for bed, so I'm not really loosing any time :whistle:

On a diffirent not regarding S3:

I finally bought a copy of Dragon Age: origins (just 'cause it was so cheap) and I'm really liking the game after all! Well, that is if I can look past the constant pause, command, micro manage, unpause gameplay. But I was thinking that Sacred 2 got all this critic about a lack of real story line, but this is exactly my problem with DAO! There is too much story - and I'm constantly thinking "am I doing this right?" "is there something I'm missing?" :oooo: The baby is crying, my wife wants some coffee and my daughter wants me to draw with her, during which I'm trying to listen to the cut scene (which can not be paused of all things) - what did I miss and how do I respond appropriately with loosing favour:) :oooo:

See in Sacred 2 this is not the case, in fact there are tons of side quests that I don't even read the content of. I just click accept and if I find it's an escort mission, then abort. I just want to stroll along plunder and loot. If suddenly all hell breaks loose at home and my very important immediate attention is required with a member of my family, I just save and quit (console has no pause :( ).

So what I'm getting at after all this ramble is that I hope S3 remains a mindless, looting-happy, hack-and-slash with maybe enough story to keep the critics happy enough, but please not so much that I constantly feel I'm going to miss something if I can't focus 100% on what is being said. I don't need to find some emotional connection with any NPC, I want to develop an emotional bond with my own character, 'cause I know I will feel oh so happy if I have a 1mil HH at 0.5sec regen in plat :woot: !

I've got exams at the moment, and I really should be studying for my IsiZulu and Geography exams tomorrow... But all I can think about is playing Sacred :P

I think we should all take the day Sacred 3 is released off and see how many servers we can fill up.

This is the luxury of being spoiled. It takes a lot of resources and time to build a world that has so much base content in it that you can let your players loose in it. When you do that, they get gifted with the greatest game gift of all... free choice.

The only thing that comes close to this level of choice,graphics, mechanics and persistence is mmorpgs. Sacred is a bargain!

+1!

So any ideas when exactly S3 will be released cause I would love to get it as well for the ps3. I've been enjoying Sacred 2 and I have learned a lot. Big diffrence a lot of stuff to take in and learn. I remember my day as a noob when I first played WoW now I've got it down pat and was helping others and having peeps use my build on toons etc. So now I have to relearn stats and junk. Might have a to find a veterain WoW player to WoWify stats and stuff for me lol j/k.

The only official word has been 2011-2012. They say it will be released for the consoles but have never mentioned which consoles. There has been some speculation that it will be released on the next generation of consoles.

I don't even think there has been any official word on a timeframe at all... :( All everything is has been speculation so far.

They'll have to do beta, marketing and advertising before that.

Come on Deep Silver, time to talk!
