Where's the intro of Darkmatters to the community

I was wondering,

 

apart from the intro of new members to darkmatters,

 

where's the intro of Darkmatters to the community ?

 

Just couldn't find it anymore,

 

but was wondering which official FDM intro thread I should link anyone to?

 

if anybody was asking for you/us guys..

(who you/we are, what you/we did, and what you/we do, etc )

 

shouldn't it be linked visibly somewhere on the starting page ?

I like this question. And.. I don't know an answer yet I think though our our TOS to the community has a kind of mission statement in it?

The TOS took us a few months to write up. A real mission statement answers different questions though. You've made me think.

 

Anyone else have any feedback on this?

The intro from the TOS works well as something brief about the place.

 

I like how on that page the small print is in larger print than everything before it

Just read that link, think you could change the font color or the background color to make it more reader friendly? the dark brown background with black print is hard to see, I had to highlight the text in order to read it.

I would guess it was created under a different skin. Should probably just change it to use the default font, that way it will (hopefully) still work if the site changes skins again.

furian, we'll take a look at those colors, yer right theyr'e kind of invisible for me as well.

 

Regarding our mission statement, give me a few days and I'll put some statements and we'll see if you guys can offer some ideas what we are where we're going, etc
