I spend the whole sunday OCing... Just updated the CA of Temple Guardian. I notice that Jolting Touch already have a great pic, so I left it there.

 

Still left 2 more characters' CA to go for Sacred 2. Don't have the Ice and Blood, yet. Thanks!

Has anyone else found that the 2.43 PC version is still bugged on part 3 of the Fresh Gladiators shadow quest chain? (It starts in Thylysium in the house directly South of the Gladiator arena if anyone wants to check it out )

 

When you're given the quest no title shows up, and it doesn't show up in the logbook either, which is going to make putting the info on the wiki...interesting

 

Anyway, thought I'd check and make sure it's not just me

 

 

My lap top is in the shop again and I have had to restart everything in both Fallen Angel and Underworld all over again on our desk top. I will get a Shadow character there and test it out as soon as I can.

@gogo, I have updated SW and Inquisitor's CAs. Do view the pages and do any touch up to them. A few Inquisitor's CAs already have pictures for them, as what I did in the past, I left them intact. As the photobucket I have been using to host them is not Pro Account, you might want to move those pictures to a suitable account for higher traffic, couldn't you? Thank you.

 

Finally, all Sacred 2 characters' CAs previews were completed. Until I get Ice & Blood, do update the Dragon Mage's CAs if anyone could. Thanks guys.

Updated the 2.40 patch page with all kinds of links. It's been so badly done on the Sacred 2 site and many other places. With all the patching trouble I think we desperately need something clear cut. I didn't touch the other patch pages but it seems as though most of the confusion is coming from the 2.40 full patch.

lol, sorry but y'all had that coming. I have been just reading over this thread, it's a huge amount of time that eveyrone here has been putting in, I've said it before, will say it again... we loves it!

 

 

Zgold, yer back from vacation and ripping through quests, with Ysne58 as steadfast friend also adding to all the quest sections as well. The work you two have produced is nothing short of marvelous. Well done!

 

And Woody, lol..you just got on board the team, and yo'ure already drinking with the crew here? Save me some beer mate! Great job having you with the Translators, the database is getting hugely huge, and downright beautiful to be read in all languages. Again, I'm happy you've found us and have been able to contribute. Thank you!

 

Rion, you and your game camera have taken Ancaria in all of it's best moments. As Ryan as posted, the work you've been doing with Combat Art Frontispiece pix "fixes" the page and does good delivery to peeps shopping for Combat Arts. I finally got around to checking the Seraphim page, have edited out a second pic from each, and we are left with the best, a mix of both yours and mine. I was also checking around the other CA pages, and nicely impressed.

 

Thanks you, and everyone else here who's making time for this. You're making players all over the world happy campers, and better builders.

It isn't just you. No title showed up for me either. I did find an entry in the log book when I clicked on it after each step. However, if I switched to a different quest, I was not able to find it again. I took screen shots. They show up as TGA files though, so I'm not really sure what I got yet. I will have to download gimp on my desktop I think.

I just filled in the Book of Wisdom quest in Sacred 1.

 

I just added a second way to start the Adelina quest to both the quick walk through and the detailed walkthrough parts of that page.

Hmm, I remember the first couple of times I did the quest (before I updated past 2.34) I had log entries, but I can't remember that happening this time around (v 2.43)...I might not have been paying attention though, since I already knew where I was going and what I was doing! I'll try doing the quest again and paying attention this time...

 

Edit: Yep, paying attention worked xD Still no name for the quest, but oh well...

Wow ZGold! You sure are prolific with this work. I got my laptop back yesterday. They replaced the hard drive, for the third time in about two months. So all that save game data I had is lost. I'm sticking to my desk top from now on, it works better anyway.

 

It is gonna be awhile before I have those two TGs back to where I can compare quests again. I am playing a little Sacred 2 every day while I'm going through S1 and updating those quests. There is plenty to do on that one as well.

 

Just post or PM me if you need me to check out anything for verification on the quests you are working on in Sacred 2 ZGold.

Wow guys, your work rate is amazing, specially ZGold!

Mine has dropped lastly due to a dramatic change in my everyday timetables... I'm about to finish my studies in february and I must complete my "end of studies project", which will be quite a hard job. So, I'll try to put my nose in here as often as possible, but I guess that won't be too much...

 

Anyway, I'll try to continue with the Places project writing new pages from time to time...

Zgold, lol...I`m gonna cheer with Ysne here, I can`t believe how fast you can do quests... is it the breakfast or something?

 

Ysne, I saw what you`re doing with first database, it`s great, thank you. The wiki was created very far in after the release of original game, and at that point, we were focusing on game mechanics, CA`s etc... It looks like yoùr work with filling in the quests is filling out nicely, and the best part about the original game`s quest, is that there were so many as compared to the newer game

 

We also have a new member on the team, satanic helper (lol, or close to that ) . The pmed me last night and we discussed adding to the original wiki, keen to learn, stories to contribute to questing... ysne, since I knew you were working on original wiki`s quests, I advised them to perhaps reach you on questions for formatting and setting up, so that they can reach your profficiency.

 

And... ZENO! Ahhh, great seeing you back on boards. Take your time, wiki`s not going anywhere, it`s a laid back hobby, and every bit helps over time.

 

It think this weekend I`d like to look at the documenting for wep slots and potion slots as Antitrust has posted about and Zgold answered about..we`ll test and see what the true defaults are with latest patch.

Happy good morning? No such thing! (I'm a Night Owl )

 

I'm only fast with the quests because the region I'm covering at the minute (High Elf) I know very very well, and most of the quests are fairly straightforward. I'm nearly done with Thylysium itself, so there will probably be a slowdown as I hit Lord Gemma's estate, then Teardrop Hamlet, Sonnenwind and the other towns up that side of the region, then across to Clearview before heading through the wall into the human region. I'm hoping to keep the quests-per-week milage around 15-20 for the rest of the High Elf region, and maybe 10-15 per week through the Human region. After that...we'll see.

 

I think what takes me longest is the image editing, mainly because I have to use the same computer that I'm playing Sacred 2 on, whereas my quest documents I can write on the laptop as I do the quests.

 

Anyway, I'll stop waffling (and avoiding the work I'm meant to be doing!) - but if anyone wants me to write out how I do my questing for the wiki, just ask...

I'm happy to help out and work with others. The ability to click on a button to add the wiki links (the S1 and Sacred 2 buttons) has been extremely helpful in speeding up the typing.
