  1. Hi, P.E.B.K.A.C., welcome to DarkMatters Regarding your lost CD keys, if you contact Ascaron at this addy here: http://forum.sacredeng.ascaron-net.com/sho...ead.php?t=43620 They're probably the ones who can help you find those keys. Good luck! gogo
  2. ABsolutley. As soon as the one month probation is over, he'll get all powers that we have. gogo
  3. Thanks Borg, that was a great response. Now... about your secret recipe for your rip marinade... gogo
  4. lol, Thorium, we're not going to ask hard questions for the time being The challenge here is in balancing interesting, fresh, edgy, out of the box content like your mod against Ascaron's good will towards us. ^^ We'll just wait and see if anything is communicated to us... and if we have time, we'll follow up with Carolyn from SIF. And we're just a fansite for Sacred, probably the busiest English Sacred site on the game right now, after the SIF, especially with SacredWiki. Since we get about thirteen thousand unique visitors a month on this forum alone, we are attempting to make sure that all is good concerning our relationship with our main game's creators, especially as they have officially supported the Wiki on the Sacred 2 site, and they have an official posting forum here at DarkMatters which Carolyn makes announcements on. gogo
  5. Ta Dah! Bärenjäger Honey Liqueur is the deliciously sweet spirit in the beehive bottle. Made with aromatic honey from the mountains of Germany, Bärenjäger is a delightful way to spruce up your tea or top off your favorite dessert. What’s the history behind Bärenjäger? Hundreds of years ago, farmers and beekeepers in Europe created a drink called “meschkinnes,” which is similar to mead, the potent potable favored by knights and warriors of yesteryear. Each farmer had his own secret recipe. The Bärenjäger recipe was created by the old Königsberg, Teucke & König Bear Trap Company. In fact, Bärenjäger means “Bear Hunter.” Today, Teucke & König no longer make bear traps, but the label on their Bärenjäger Honey Liqueur portrays a hunter using the ancient device to snare a bear using honey as bait. In a way, Teucke & König still uses honey as bait, attracting people to their tasty Bärenjäger Honey Liqueur. Deliciously sweet, Bärenjäger can be enjoyed straight, on the rocks, as a mixer in cocktails, or as a topping for desserts. And from Lithuania no less yee haw! gogo
  6. I was wonderin where you were darlin! Happy Paddy's! gogo
  7. Thorium, first of all welcome to the boards! The information here in this thread is rather fascinating, if not a touch contentious regarding Ascaron's stance on modding. I"m therefore just adding a note/disclaimer on DarkMatters' official position on this now until further notice from Ascaron to us. Powerpyx, thank you very much for your honest views on the topic. Very much appreciated and useful. From DarkMatters Admin: Ascaron does not official support the use of editing for Sacred, this therefore leaves this thread in a contentious position. We have decided to allow the thread to remain until further official comment from Ascaron. All use of the following information in this thread are at your own risk. gogoblender
  8. A fair enough answer, Thorium, and I'd also like to welcome you to DarkMatters I've just added a disclaimer into the first post of this thread stating Ascaron's official point of view on ingame modding, and we can wait until further news from Ascaron on this subject. The information here is very interesting and could be of use to people that have been playing this game for many years now, we will just wish to add the note that all use of information here is at the player's own risk. Cheers! gogo
  9. In this case, the online times thing would be a part of his probation. Right now probation for ogame means they don't see our goals and ready room for a month. We could add to it that they would also not see our online times. For those that have very heavy fleet saves and are followed avidly by all the highest ranked members of the uni who want to crash them, this could be a kind of comfort and security. gogo
  10. I've been thinking more. Not only will he be on probation for this forum but...we can also set it so that he doesn't see our online times in game with a new game title...we can run this for about a month and see what happens? Also, I'm going to provoke him more in his application thread in a few minutes. I think it's important that he know all of our apprehensions and that he understand that he absolutely must address them. We may have to dial down a bit of the soft touch here when talking to him about this , and get to the heart of the matter. We have some good accounts in the clan at stake, and their safety is our most important concern. gogo p.s. lol, dear John OKay that was VERY strange...I"m suprer surprised that anestty was able to see this thread, and I guess it was because it was posted in a forum he could see in I saw him reading it for a few seconds before I snatched it out quickly and stuck it here in Ready Room where only us the clan can see it. I looked at what he saw and everything else is safe. Whew gogo
  11. Hey guys, sorry for the double post. Borg, there was just a few elements that I feel we have to touch upon, mainly those of our honest concerns regarding your so-long association with Jin Roh. Perhaps it could be said that someone who has so many friends in the game as you, could perhaps be seen as a valuable asset to anyone that was interested in D.a.r.k motivations. I do not mean to impolite or rude here, but it's important for us all to understand more deeply what your motivations are for joining dark, considering your very long association with Jin Roh. Is there anything that you can tell us that will help us understand that your interest in D.a.r.k are genuine, and that you're in fact, honestly in for the long haul? I hope you understand my questions here as the last person whom we accepted turned out to be a spy, and it took us six months to finally bring him to justice...the largest ipm strike in all of ogame history. I personally feel like I know you, I very much have appreciated the almost two years you've been on these boards, and your bbq thread is a mainstay of my dreams. Can you convince the others here of your sincere intentions as well? gogo
  12. Well, this has opened up a discussion on a lot of issues. I think one of them is whether Borg can be trusted or not, I'm of the opinion that he can, and that he likes our community. So regarding that, I'd say a yes to his application. Now, regarding what's been said about inactive players, it sounds valid. What I can do is send an email to Esfan and see whether he's really into the game or not and ask him what his commitments are. If he's not interested, we can move him off the roster, and we'd have that space. Count my addition to this thread as a positive vote for Borg, and I will in a few minutes shoot off the pm to Esfan regarding his interest. gogo p.s. Everyone please try to mention whether your vote is negative or positive, as in a week, we will have to tally up the votes. Cheers! p.s.s. As well, remember that for a month, the new members are on a probation, they cannot see our goals or the ready room which is D.a.r.k Ogame's highest security area ONLY active members of the clan can see it. Sorry for the double post. I just sent Esfan the letter asking him about his interest, hopefully he'll respond in a day or two and respond to this thread. I've asked him about his interest regarding ogame and hopefully this will clarify our road. gogo
  13. Hey guys, pretty interesting thread here. I have to ask though, is this editing ability officially recognized and okayed by Ascaron? We a few thousand peeps a month perusing the Sacred Forums here at DarkMatters, it's kind of important to know what the official stance is on this. gogo
  14. Yee haw, Gintukas's birthday has arrived! I hope you're having a wonderful time with your family, and ...lol, hope there's some of that home brewed liqueur waiting for us as well. Best of the year to you my friend. Cheers! gogo
  15. Well, lol, fancy meeting you here in this section of the forum..and well met! Borg, we'll open up a discussion vote thread regarding your official application and you'll get a pm back from us in a week. Great seeing the app! gogo
  16. It's funny, just until yesterday I never thought of doing this. Printscreening particular scenes from a movie that I'm watching on my computer. And yesterday after repeat viewing this one scene over and over from The Lord of The Rings, I was wondering if there was a way for me to share the delight and excitement I felt while doing this with others here on the community. So here it is, a thread and my starter screen shot: The thing that has always fascinated me so much from The Lord of the Rings was the sparing use of magic... in fact Gandalf's use of magic was so rare in the books/movies, that everytime he would manifest anything as small as a glow, there would be murmurs of ooooooooh from the audience. This one scene has Gandalf in all his fearlessness running out to defend the returning host after it's wallop in battle. Gandalf's use of his staff sends out piercing beams of light into the sky to drive away the winged creatures. The funny thing is that the scene is kind of...hokey? But because there is so much bravery in his actions, that he has no feelings for his own life, and just races out to do his best...This screen shot more than most others makes my heart swell in pride for people doing great things for their friends and their cause. There is an epic majesty about it, something that catches me everytime I look at this battle, maybe it's the distance at which they framed the shot? Go Gandalf! gogo
  17. Don't worry Schot, you'll find that code. Under a rock, on a page, in a link or post or dbase... The code is out there! gogo
  18. Finally! Check out what the fireball can do ^^ Combat Arts gogo
  19. Hey, welcome back Dutch...good knowin yer still in the Cosmos ^^ Regarding Ikariam, the gang has a thread going on about it over here with more than four hundred posts on it: http://darkmatters.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=7071 Cheers! gogo p.s. how's the wife and kid doin? Must be all grown up now!
  20. Isn't that the thing though? When we're all used to waking up early, those few days respite we have are all clogged up by our bodies getting us up too early. Go back to sleep body! And Borg, that's sad about your two days off ruining it for the others, we be all in the almost same kinda boat huh gogo
  21. Small dogs do it cuz they can get away with it. Beware gogo
  22. wow, this used to be my favorite holiday of all time... Happy St. Paddy's everyone, yeee hooooooooooooooooooey! gogo
  23. I kept thinking about this all day...I mean, if they're making stuff safer..wouldn't it mean that they'd have to offer less services cuz peeps are policing themselves? Sound like they're used to having all that money to work with in the first place, and even if they don't really need it anymore the fancy stuff they were probably buying with it would be missed gogo
  24. I'd go DE. They seem to have a lot of offerings, and I'd enjoy seeing one specced out in a way that's fresh. gogo
