  5. DemiGod is coming... multiplayer gaming whilst in the seat of a walking fortress with all of your minions running about below you scurrying like ants all doing your bidding. Explosive rockets, magic and thunderous concatenations are promised as this games comes closer to release date. You can read 1up's story here or... just drool at the pix Demigod Revealed First ever look at the new game from Chris Taylor's Gas Powered Games! By GFW Staff, 01/03/2008 Chris Taylor's Gas Powered Games is best known for its RTS Supreme Commander and its action-RPG series Dungeon Siege -- so maybe it's just the natural course of evolution that the developer's newest game, Demigod, should borrow a bunch from both of those genres: It's an action/RPG/RTS hybrid, inspired partly by the popular WarCraft III mod Defense of the Ancients. For those who've never tried DotA, it concentrates on two teams trying to destroy each others' bases; though rather than managing all the units or gathering resources as in a regular RTS, players each control a single Hero unit with different powers, leveling up by killing A.I. enemies around the map. In Demigod, you control one of many "demigod" heroes -- some of which survive solely on the strength of their own powers, others of which thrive on building smaller units and structures of their own for support. The guy on the left in the screenshot below is one such hero, "The Rook," a former king whose spirit now animates an anthropomorphic castle. Demigod is, as you'd expect, a multiplayer game at heart, with an emphasis on co-op play. There's a single-player mode, too, though Gas Powered Games says it will serve mainly as a "training ground" for the multiplayer. ...read more here gogo
  6. some very nice purchases made here gang. Total, even though guns very much frighten me, it's still a beautiful piece, the workmanship in these photos is beautiful. My Uncle has an extensive gun collection that he showed us while we were all down in potomaq village once for Christmas (is that how they spell it lol) and it's easy to see how they can become collector's items, very weighty pieces with huge amounts of history all connected. And Tim...new computer...sigh... drool... ahhhh, I'm slowly goin green , lol... Looks like that's definitely gonna take you through to Christmas gogo
  7. That's awesome Course, the crowning moment is the pin prick at midnight no turning into a pumpkin here gogo

  9. Three minute job presentaton? I've never heard of something like this before... isn't job stuff like this usually done by them just doing an interview? I hope someone here's able to help you with this, as I've never heard of this kind of a job interview format before gogo p.s. definitely try googling this concept, if it's being done, I'm sure someone's written a guide up for it.
  10. Well, I read the book and... dunno, it wasn't for me one of king's best. Not all that polished, just a bunch of freaky animals all out in the mist eating people, lol... Ari, since you're in the country , and see a lot of fog, I can see how this would bring the shivers... I think I'll just wait till this comes out on dvd gogo
  11. heh, this is great Dick, I'm sorry I missed the sale, it sounds like it was a uni 9 extravaganza. As the stock is all gone, I guess we can close this thread while saying that we're looking forward to the next sale of precious stones. Cheers! gogo
  12. Nice work here guys. Masteff, that's great content . Those pages for Combat Arts are open to any kind of ideas and submissions that anyone has with adding new content and even changing anything already there. Notes is open to as much content and insight into Combat Arts as anyone can think of. And regarding pics, Masteff, adding pics is open to anyone who's got a good one for SacredWiki. Ari, me, Epox, nightwolfe schot, lots of others have been adding pics they find. If you have a good one just get it uploaded to bucket and then put the link in where the old one is now. We can then come in later and then and add it into the main wiki account for photobucket until we get enough space one day to actually be able to upload pics directly into the wiki. gogo

  16. heh, don't know much about Wood Elves, but...I do know a nice build name when I see one...and I do like your choice on this one ^^ lol, reminded me of Shakespear's old eye of news quote: 2nd Witch: "Eye of newt, and toe of frog, Wool of bat, and tongue of dog, Adder's fork, and blind-worm's sting, Lizard's leg, and howlet's wing,-- For a charm of powerful trouble, Like a hell-broth boil and bubble." And I thought I'd also throw in a pic for today's build/recipe as well for you: gogo p.s. do you have any pics of what this build looks like in action? Also, how about resistances...is it particularly resistant against some monters... more powerful against other monsters or specific regions that you recommend ? And perhaps as a nice touch on this build for others to follow up with quickly, you could turn your mention of Combat Arts that you use into links on the wiki...this way peeps could instantly zip over to Combat ARts that you mention and you would also get new players who don't know about the game, excited about your build.
  17. Ahhh, is this Andy? Paul, sorry about that I didn't realize it was your friend, geez, I didn't "clicK" with the name... gogo

  19. I just read the article. You know what...it looks like...there is no answer now. It looks like... it's finally an amalgam of the two arts... animation and acting? Both used at different parts during the creation of the "manifestation"... ? It's wonderful and yet a little scary at the same time...world's a changing folks... gogo
