  1. Awww erling I have seen those pics of your dog she's beautiful! but snakes are really sweet Hope one day you'll get your own! rofl I can always bore you to death with stories of ours Myles I don't mind at all, I should have thought, yeah some people do have pretty strong reactions to snakes and stuff, thanks for thinking of it Yeah gogo he is pretty strong, the only things he can't move are his hide and water bowl. His water bowl is damn heavy and lives atop of his hide so he goes though the water sometimes and into his hide to curl up. It's funny as some nights I'll hear a thud and he's been moving round and dropped of his log LOL
  2. Awww Knuckles thats super crappy and I would happily help you torture the slacker that caused all this! Hope you will be feeling better really soon Knuckles, *sends over some fleece lined spandex* and a few shots of medicinal whiskey
  3. LOL they are in a tuppawear type box in the freezer which I showed the kids so they didn't open it by mistake! Though they aren't at all squemish about them, I don't like them tbh and I tried 'Johnny' (kids named him) with a defrosted one during the week but it was too soon so I had to wrap it back up and dispose of it. He wasn't interested in it at all. I can't let him out alone gogo in case he vanishes under something but he does seem to love company when he's out, they aren't the most active snakes but he's very active when he is active The first night I got him I was up till 3am watching him trashing his Vivarium exploring and pushing his logs etc around, seems he needed to arrange it to his liking LOL I love boa's and we had a couple round visiting with their owner last weekend. the kids were in 7th heaven, 'Can we have a boa Mom, can we can we?' haha nope, these were over 7 feet and I don't have the experience to look after such a big snake....yet....well for a long while! Did you ever wear your frieind's boa gogo?...somehow I can just imagine you draped in a snake! They are beauties the guy has a male and female that he is hoping will breed but I won't be getting one of those for a few years
  4. Finally it's the weekend Drinks all round, make mine a triple strength espresso please ....been a long week, good week but very long and I need something strong! Hope you are all well
  5. hehe ok so it's not really a 'baby' but last week after a few weeks of visiting this chap and him bringing the 'baby' round to me we bought our first Royal Python, also known as a Ball Python. He's around 1.5 yrs old, not so big probably 2 feet nose to tail and absolutely adorable! He'll not get much bigger than around 4 feet fully grown and they are very very placid. He came with his vivarium and bits and bobs, the next day I was at the Reptile Place buying him so more things including the frozen mice he has for feeding. As for his being handled he's a great snake he loves being out and climbing around me or the kids, the sofa, floor etc. Then just like his name he'll curl up and be happy to sit on your lap until he goes back into his Vivarium. He's on a hands off now to really settle and so he will feed after the weekend. The only downside to these Python's is that they can be fussy eaters so we can't take him out for a cuddle now until a couple of days after he has fed. They will also go for weeks without eating! LOL though as he was a fair feeder with his old owner I am hoping he'll tuck in after the weekend. Ain't he lovely! Edit by Myles: added the byline, "alternative pet".
  6. Have a great holiday Coopsy! Pops by with some Champers for Mr Blender's Birthday Hope you are all doing well Party Time
  7. Ike....good to see you don't change....and thats why we loves you....lol and why I like to come and read these ogame hits
  8. I played Sacred for what seems a long time on dial up and it was all I had! LOL ran slow as a slow thing and in parties was a nightmare but well I kind of stuck at it with my hope for a better connection which eventually I got, hope you get it sorted soon
  9. maybe they could be merged Where did you get the date of May 16th Stubbie?, I checked the official forum last night and only saw the apology for the delay. I want it now ofc! Patience isn't a virtue of mine As for the dialogue sometimes being a bit iffy I found it quite a charming part of the game though occaisionally irritating, the dialogue in places had me LOL, as for the overall performance I played it with all the settings up high and it ran like a dream well other than the odd crash, which I think I read somewhere that it could be the copy protection I have no idea what caused it but I do know I tried lots of settings and none worked more than another so I hiked the graphics back up. There are certain things I would like to see changed but I'll wait for the enhancement to see what happens. An interesting article here which maybe addresses some of the issues you have had, lol I love the description of the dialogue at the beginning of the article >>here<<
  10. hehe had to resurrect this one. Just finished the game and it's awesome! a little bit crashy but not hugely, just have to remember to save Also my sadness at having finished it is not so great as I can now play it again from another angle....*yayyy* The graphics are beautiful, loads of side quests to get lost in and lots of baddies Also *even bigger yayy* the books are finally starting to be translated into English with *the Last Wish' out already and another due in September. My next yayy is that Projeckt Red are releasing an enhanced version of The Witcher some time really soon, should be round about the next week or so, free for registered games iirc, but it won't stop me paying for it if I have to, thats how much I have enjoyed this game. *runs off to start the replay *
