  1. Great thread....very interesting. The green arrow is us It's Australia.......not Austria Ocean to the right of us.......mountains to the left Our home and important place of interest stubbs
  2. The WII is never coming to this home. Just the idea of having to actually be physical while playing an electronic game defeats the whole purpose of having a comfortable lounge stubbs
  3. Yes, I can get that resolution, as well as many more mate.......but: (from an online site I found) In my case the native resolution is 1680 x 1050 so while lowering the resolution to 1280 x 800 is possible it is not desirable. It will just lower the quality not the aspect ratio. Perhaps a more pertinent question is whether Sacred 2 will be supporting 16:10 aspect ratio. If not then the picture on my monitor will be distorted. There are various methods that can try to overcome this but usually it involves stretching the image or reducing some of the Field of Vision........neither are really acceptable to widescreen owners. And you are correct in your comment that 16:10 is becoming more and more popular for pc monitors so heres hoping the Sacred 2 developers are aware of this too stubbs
  4. I have a Benq FP222W 22" monitor with a native 1680 x 1050 resolution. Would this display Sacred 2 correctly? stubbs
  5. Thanks for the linky Schot, but it has confused me somewhat. I am now wondering whether my 16:10 monitor will display Sacred2's 16:9 resolution correctly? I am really a newbie with widescreen stuff stubbs
  6. I could never make a toon that would last past gold. Love the game.........doesn't mean I'm any good at it stubbs
  7. That was soo cool. Thanks Schot for posting. (and you too Arilaftia One point........ I hope that was a "censored" version because the blood effect looked absolutely crappy. I mean like when something dies it looks like it farts a red powder puff. A question too...........any one know if the game will have widescreen support? and I am presently half way to saving up enough money to buy a new pc to run this. I reckon its gonna need a real beast to get decent framerates. stubbs
  8. The Seraphim reminds me of a rubber doll a mate of mine used to have. stubbs
  9. Sorry to raise an old recipe here Borg, but it has me intrigued. I'm talking about the one where you shove the can of beer up the chooks cakehole. I actually like the sound of it (though how I could possibly sacrifice a half can of beer will be the test As I don't have a bbq that would cook it properly, do you think I could do it in an oven? I usually roast a chook in an oven tray on a rack and have a cup of water in the tray to keep the chook moist but your idea of using beer sounds yummy. And having the chook stand vertical seems like a great way to get rid of excess fat (as I'm on a *ahem* diet atm ) thanks, stubbs
  10. Welcome Francy. Hope you like it here. There are lots of nice people and a few crazy ones too stubbs
  11. Another great facility you guys have added to a fantastic forum. DM is truly a professional forum and you all should be extremely proud of your home. While a community is only as good as the people who frequent it, the way it is run and presented encourages more people to join and to participate. I have to say that DM is one of the best places I have had the pleasure of posting in. Well done everyone and special thanks you Schot. stubbs

  14. Hope you guys don't mind my interrupting. I have been following your adventures and conquests with interest. This game sounds like a real blast to play. Its got my interest. I have no doubt though that's its way too involved for me to be any good at. Just letting you know that you have an attentive audience (even if its only me stubbs

  19. Whenever ppl have a suspicion of a memory problem or even when they don't I always suggest to try and do a test using MemTest This little baby found the cause of my BSOD's when I built my pc a few years ago. As you have correctly stated gial, Sacred does use a lot of memory, so it is quite possible that you only have the problem with Sacred if its a faulty RAM stick. Anyhoo, doesn't hurt to try stubbs
  20. as this is my thread I can ask whatever dopey questions I like.....so there. Please...........what is the difference between Fellowship and Member in this place? thanks stubbs
