Dislocated shoulder

#1: Soccer, goalie, cornerball, underrun, arm trapped in net when jumping up, gravity, coming down with arm still trapped

#2: rough basketball at base training at army. Tried to get a rebound, underrun, same FECAL MATTER! with net and gravity

#3: car stealing right to drive when I was on a bike at 160km/h, escaped collision by stearing into a slide towards a green field. Mole hill :(

#4: using a fork to load hay packets into the barn window

#5: same as #4

#6: actuell one, new untrained firefighter who opened the wrong ventil and the water pipe whipped and got my shoulder from below because I was guarding my neck and face. Again wrong side, my right arm would probably had been strong enough to suffer no damage.

Each dislocation weakens the shoulder more and more. Good thing is I am forced to swim a lot to train the muscles up again and I can do it with the kids.

Just passing and thught I would pop in and say hello to happy memories. Drinks all round but make mine orange.

Funny talk about dislocated shoulders up above. I jarred my back in October and it has been giving me gyp (jip?) ever since. Then suddenly yesterday morning it sort of jumped back into place and in a moment was alright, just like a dislocation snapping back into place. Can you have a dislocation at the base of the spine?

Anyway - hello all and a late happy new year.

Cheers.

Welcome back Bondbug

They did no MRT?

It could be 'just' a disc protrusion and not a full spinal disc herniation. Hope the english terms are close to the german ones. Too bad that my wife is at a meeting at Marburg.

Hope it stays away.

I would be remiss not to advise one experiencing such a condition to take a trip to a DO (doctor of Osteopathy and equivalent to a M.D.) or a DC (doctor of chiropractic) for an adjustment of your lower (lumbar vertabrae). Subluxations of the spine (minor dislocations) occur even among children and one properly schooled in the practice of spinal manipulation may indeed provide lasting relief. If one allows their condition to worsen by not taking proper action, a more problematic and serious condition may indeed occur. Please do take care of yourself, kind sir.

Oh, by the way, I overheard my Fire Elf taunt a mage of the cult earlier, saying, "You may try to tie me down, but your ash is mine".

Thanks for all the kind comments. Medical care here in France is a bit different, lol. I did eventually go to doc, who is a good and enthousiastic bird watcher. She said it wasn't a hip problem as I feared, pain in wrong place, but just a muscular thing, and gave me a belt - er that sounds bad - never mind. But I can't wear the things, so didn't. Long term problem that crops up occasionally so I just let it sort itself out. At my age I cannot expect to be an Olympic Gymnast. I always liked an "embrocation" which claimed to be for horses, and (almost as an afterthought) humans. Popular among rugby players.

Hooyah's advice sounds good - minor dislocation quite poss. I will try to find out what a DC is in this part of the world if it is not too late.

How did you get all these learned folks into your dark matters Gogo. Are they all poutine specialists?
