stubbie 22 Share Posted February 20, 2008 (edited) Wow Funkilicious....that's a nice swag of programs there I also have a few but one that I really recommend is MailWasher The free version has some limitations (none that cripple though), but I was so impressed I got the Pro version. Program title: MailWasher Area of application: Email screening Recommended because: It views your emails at your ISP server, rather than on your pc. Filter out spam email before they reach your pc. Reduces the possibility of viruses and trojans. Download from:here Cost: Free (free version has some limitations) Pro version is $38, but the free version works fine. Known drawbacks / limitation: free version only allows one POP3 email account. However it works with all email programs such as Microsoft Outlook and Thunderbird. Requires some computer knowledge if you want to make the spam filters work at their best (though this is not a necessity to get the other benefits of the program) stubbs edit; here is a pic of my MailWasher without any incoming emails The short version: The top window will show all your emails currently on your ISP server. The bottom window will show what the email contains. If you don't like what you see you can delete the emails from your ISP server's computer rather than risking having them download on your pc thus eliminating a lot of unnecessary hard drive space and potentially stopping a lot of virus and trojan programs coming to your pc.
