The repository is now complete; I have implemented Analyze.exe.

I have implemented my own algorithm by doing some tweaks to the dynamic programming approach from the wikipedia site. Honestly I'd prefer the former, I bet your hardware setup is like 1000 times faster than mine (which is kinda sad given that I'm becoming a programmer. Really says a lot about the german government's care about education.)

Excuse me, can some one upload or pint me to download older version before version 1, because all version right now will cause connection lost on single player, at point of the main quest game at orc's land or fighting first dragon boss, at this point talking to any merchant will cause connection lost, only two classes work until main quest completion, shadow warrior and seraphim, the other will connection lost. I have tried all combination with cm patch or without, still the same, I play darkmod. Thanks in advance.

Compared to modern arpg games, imo Sacred 2 is less overloaded and instead a more relaxed experience. At the same time character customization allows for different play styles on each of the classes. I particularly like to experiment with the nuances the skill mods provide, The open world feels purposeful and exploring it actually feels like an adventure, Lastly the dedicated community and the amazing modders and contributors we have are making Sacred 2 really special in many ways (big thanks to all of you! ;) ). I mean if you think about it, isn't it sort of mind blowing that you can for example have a Diablo 2 experience in Sacred 2 with the D2F mod or that the old days online server access got secured and reverse engineered to allow easy multiplayer gaming.

Hello friends, I'm thinking of starting a new character on Sacred 2 Gold + CM160. Having played D2F and EE before I really started to appreciate the monster density provided by the optional SuperSpawn modules provided with each of these mods. Is it possible to just use the D2F or EE SuperSpawn with CM160 to affect monster density or is that inadvisable? Cheers

Well the last release of D2F is still sort of hanging on the return of Dmitriy, for a last few polishing issues in the code, so who knows when that will be. I don't plan on going anywhere, that's for sure. I'll check out whatever you release.

I have implemented and tested that. While this function works perfectly it is also incredible incredible slow for large strings. For 4054639731 I needed to abort because the comparison took too long. It seems I have to make optimizations. we don't need the exact return value, we just need to know wether the strings are "less equal" than a given threshold.

In theory the repository is complete. In practice two things are lacking: The Analyze Tool A better String Comparison Function I have found that my function which is supposed to return how "alike" two strings are, 0 if they are identical and the higher the number, the less identical, underperforms. But see for yourself if you can spot the issue: Figured out how it works? And see the issue? The latest two are almost identical, yet the function returns 26 which is very large. But I have an idea for a better function. The idea is to find the largest matching run between the two strings, split it and then recursively compare the two left and the two right substrings and add it to the result.

Well it's the nature of my current job that I have negligible income but don't need to pay for apartement. It has its pros and its cons, the cons definitely outweighing the pros, as e.g. I cannot choose freely where to live and have to take whatever apartement they give me. The living conditions of the past two years really have not been that great. Which is probably the understatement of the year. But it will not stay like this forever, one more year and I'll (hopefully) be able to live more free and dignified. But it is what it is, and as long as it is this way and I don't have to pay for electricity, buying ingredients and cooking them is simply more economically reasonable than buying cooked food. Pretty boring reason, but in the end it's all about the money. That being said, I do enjoy cooking a lot (actually way more than baking) and I have gotten way better at it in the past two years. If only I could spare washing the dishes Yeah it's like Panna Cotta isn't it? Incredible stuff.
